I coach a 14u baseball team.So i brought them to jacksonville to play at lens field for the weekend.We stayed in your holiday inn express.My room the tiles where missing in the bathroom, thats it for my room.ice machines where broke, the pancake machine broke, a couple on my team didn't have a frig or microwave in there room. Thats not good because they brought lunches that need to to cold, and there confirmation said that there would both in the room. Also one of or team members booked last minute, and there room was $30.00 a night cheaper.So I ate crow from everybody else that payed more.That stunk I stayed at holiday inn express before and thought I knew what I was doing. scott

Staff made our stay very enjoyable. Room was a good size for the amount of time we stayed.

Stay was fine with the exception of the 6 loud unsupervised teenage girls. Pool was very peaceful until they came in and my son had had enough of the screaming, jumping and splashing from them. Pricing was a bit much for what I could book in other areas. Two weeks ago I stayed in a hotel with the same amenities and it was only $60.00 minus the screaming unsupervised girls.

Its always a good place to stay, howevere fixing the side exit to the street with the raised sidewalk will keep someone else from falling like I did.

The temperature in the room was extremely high. I turned the control as low as it would go, but it was still turning on and the room was like a sauna. I tried to report to the front desk but got no response. Cracked a window and went to sleep. I tried to report the issue the next morning while eating breakfast before leaving, but there was no attendant the 45 minutes or so I was eating before leaving.
Other than the room temperature and the inability to report it the facility was clean and as expected at a Holiday Inn Express.

I hope to stay at this Holiday Inn Express again when traveling. We were greeted as Priority Members and received a refreshing bottle of water and choice of snack.

Very enjoyable hotel. Clean and comfortable. The only issue I had was that their Internet was very underpowered for having any amount of guests staying at the hotel. When you have to get on the Internet for work and online school classes and the Internet is crawling, the evening can get long and frustrating.
Aside from the Internet issue, the hotel is very nice.
