I checked in with a government rate, I provided the clerk the tax exempt paperwork. When I checked out I noticed that the taxes where still levied on my bill. I asked the clerk about this, he stated he could not do anything about it until the manager arrived, (I understand), he ensure he had the tax exempt paperwork and that he would notify the manager about this and that a new receipt will be emailed to me. That was Friday April 29, 2016. Today May 2, 2016 I did not received an updated receipt. I called the front desk and after waiting 15 minutes on hold, I hanged up and call again. The manager on duty this time took care of the situation after I called a second time.

I stayed the night prior to my cruise.
The price was great. And the complimentary breakfast was really good.
The gentleman that checked us in was super friendly. I wish I could remember his name.
There's a Wendy's across the parking lot. That was fine with us for the one night.
The hotel provides a shuttle to the cruise terminal. Because there were six of us, instead of using the shuttle, we decided to call the cab company that brought us to the hotel the night before - to save a few dollars.
If I were to cruise out of Jacksonville in the future, I would stay here again.

I stayed in this hotels for 2 nights for business trip and it was a pleasure to stayed here, staff was very friendly and helpful, I highly recommend this hotel.
