Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by comfortable bed, quiet, convenient to Mayo Clinic Hotel was easy to access off of fast four lane roads and was only 5 minutes from Mayo Clinic. They offered shuttle service to Mayo but we drove for morning appointments. The beds were very comfortable, the room clean, the free breakfast adequate. Close to Atlantic Beach. Had a good supper at Marlin Moon Grille and a terrific lunch of lobster roll at A La Carte, both within 10 minutes of hotel. The indoor/outdoor pool was nice but the hot tub wasn't hot. Will definitely stay again for Mayo Clinic appointments. August 23, 2014

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by noises all during night unidentified LOUD noises ALL night which resulted in VERY LITTLE sleep for me and or my daughter. next morning we asked if personnel were moving large furniture, moving large equipment, or working on roof during the night. the answer was that there was nothing happening of that sort happening. We could not understand what the noise was but it was very loud and disturbing. My daughter is a patient at the Mayo Clinic and it is very important that she gets plenty of rest. We have been satisfied with our other stays at your Inn this Summer, but after this last visit, we may consider making reservations elsewhere, for our upcoming visit this week. August 17, 2014

The hotel is located just a few minutes from Mayo in a new residential area, with grocery store just a short walk away. A short drive away is another mall with the major chain department stores. Also close enough to Ponte Vedra and Jacksonville beach. The staff was great and the breakfast most satisfying. I will stay here again on future visits to Mayo or Jacksonville. August 15, 2014

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by IF YOUR HANDICAPPED DON'T STAY HERE ! I had traveled to the area for medical care and chose to stay here because of the Mayo Clinic Patient rate. This is an older hotel in need of improvement. With mis-matched furniture in the lobby to the pool area that isn't ADA compliant. Housekeeping is short-staffed and was trash in hallways in the evening because they were still cleaning rooms. Even after waiting four hours for a room to be cleaned there was still no linens in the room. The breakfast area was not fully stocked and the only helpful staff person was the front desk agent by the name of Samuel who tried his best to speed things along on my day of arrival. The worst part of the experience (and the reason I departed two days early) was the fact their shuttle driver (also a housekeeper) refused to transport my wheelchair to the hospital stating "they will have chairs there" True but, I have a custom chair due to my disability and I ended up taking a taxi at a cost of $15 each way. I was disappointed at this hotel that I will not stay here again August 5, 2014

The first day of our arrival the reserved room was not available and we were put in a suite which left my daughter sleeping on a very uncomfortable pull-out couch. The breakfast variety is theoretically fairly robust, but fruit and the pancake maker were inconsistent in quality/availability. You could really count on cereal, eggs and sausage and cinnamon rolls. My wife found the bed to be soft and woke up with backaches most mornings. August 4, 2014

I have had to request room changes due to being assigned a room that someone had smoked in. This is very frustration! August 4, 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent Choice My stay was for 1 week; the housekeeping and front lobby staff were super nice and friendly; the rooms were comfortable with nice mattress, dark room, and did not hear any noise from outside the building or hallways during my stay. The pool is part inside and part outside, not 1 inside and 1 outside as I had thought. Excellent location to shopping and beaches. August 3, 2014

Pool is indoor/outdoor and hot tub is working 99% of the time. this last stay they were cleaning hot tub so I did not use but I understand everything can't be available 100 % of the time . We purchased all of our meals from the store and ate w/the exception of breakfast in our rooms. Cheapest way to go.restaurants was very pricey. My wife is undergoing surgery w/follow-ups every 3 months otherwise this would have been memorable. I do wish cheaper rates could be made available for folks in our situation. August 1, 2014

The staff at this hotel was great. Jonathan helped with suggesting things to do as a family and great restaurants. All of the staff was friendly. The hotel was clean and roomy. The furniture was new and not dated like most hotels. This was my first time staying at Holiday Inn Express but after this experience they will be my first choice. Thank you Jonathan! July 31, 2014
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Family wedding I will start with the good. The rooms are big,clean and comfortable. There are wheelchairs available for guests to use which is a very nice feature. The breakfast was very good. There are some communication problems at this hotel and some trust problems with management and the staff that created undue stress during our visit. My sister had called to confirm that a crib would be available for her four month old granddaughter two days before our arrival. A group block had been reserved for the wedding. She was told that the hotel had cribs and that one would be in their room upon arrival. The pack and play would be left at home. Upon arrival no crib was in the room. Only one person was working in the hotel and he did not have access to the storage area where they are stored. He showed the one key that he had. He preceded to tell me this has happened before but management did not care. I was told no crib would be available till the next morning. As this had now become a safety issue I call the national phone customer number who was trying to contact the manager. To make a long story short, the night before my daughters wedding I had the hotel call other holiday inn hotels in the area to see if they had a crib that I could go pick up. Fifteen minutes later the front desk told me they had found parts of cribs on five different floors that they put together to make a crib. No sheet of course but my niece had brought her own. This is not a people problem! It is a trust problem. Give your staff the keys they need to do their jobs and please hire more than one person to work in the evenings. Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Clean, safe, quiet This is a newly renovated hotel and everything was up to the company's standards. Rooms were very comfortable, clean and quiet. Check in was quick and easy as well as check out. I felt the items in the pantry were a little pricey, but I suppose you have to pay for convenience. I was not impressed with the quality of the food at all for breakfast and thought the hours for breakfast should be longer. Overall, it was a pleasant stay and in a convenient location for our purposes July 30, 2014

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Hotel Guests bringing in their friends, Family Stay was good except a family that was visiting a guest of the Hotel, had 3 kids & baby, 2 older boys were "play" screaming for 2 HOURS, it was very unerving to try and stay in the pool with the noise level, I am all for being happy & having fun, but the Mother & Guest of hotel should have spoke to them about their noise level. The week earlier on my stay there were 3 familes in the pool, with 7 children, and they were not a bit noisy in there play and having fun. July 16, 2014
