Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by After a long drive it was a great stay I was greeted with smiling face and concern, by a professional staff member you checked me rapidly and gave me directions to my room, asked if there was anything that I needed and informed me of the time the great room would be open for use. Also informed me that there was coffee in the great room if I would like a cup, it was just a pleasant and enjoyable experience after a 12 hour drive. November 5, 2014

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great Hotel in the middle of North Dakota We set up a meeting at this hotel. The sleeping rooms were very nice and cozy as home. I enjoyed the big screen TV along with having a fridge and micro in my room. The king bed was super comfy. The only thing to improve here would be their process of booking of the meeting room. This is the second time in the last 3 years that we secured a meeting room two months in advance and no one had it reserved for us when we got there. This time it worked out as no one else had the room, thank God. Last time, we had to meet in a hotel sleeping room and sit on the beds with a table between them. That was rather awkward and unprofessional, but when you are in the middle of ND, what else are you going to do? So yes, you will need to confirm, and then confirm again, and then hopefully they will store the information for your meeting so when you arrive, they have not given your meeting room away to someone walking in the door just ahead of you. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Lack of Assistance A room with 1 chair is not acceptable for 2 senior citizens when in the room for reading or viewing television. Having to sit on a bed for most of the evening is uncomfortable. What is even worse is going to the front desk and asking for a chair only to be told "No, there is no room for it." Having stayed in Holiday Inn Express for years and having had 2 chairs in the rooms of the same size as the one used this trip, I know there IS room. We could have been told to borrow a chair from the Great Room and return it at the end of evening but there was no effort on the part of the front desk to assist us. This was the poorest experience we have ever had with staff. October 27, 2014
