Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Staff We visited for a long weekend to visit our son at school. The staff was very helpful and knowledgeable of the area. The lady at the front desk all weekend was EXCELLENT. She was able to recommend restaurants and give directions for every request. The breakfast staff was equally great. Very courteous and kept the food fresh and very helpful with all peoples needs. I will definitely stay here again when coming to Jamestown. Only slight thing was the room had an odd smell, but not bad. GREAT Hotel and Fabulous staff!!!!!! October 10, 2013

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Not quite there. Biggest issue was the last guest night gown was hanging and smelling in the bathroom. The night before at another IHG property my wife wasn't able to take a bath. She wasn't able to here because the stopper didn't work. When I called the front desk all I could get was sorry. We've stayed here before and had a great time, not sure why it has changed. August 25, 2013

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by great location the hotel was located in ideal location for leaving to enjoy local attractions. the staff were friendly and the room was very clean. the bed was extremely comfortable. the homemade cookies placed in the lobby each evening made you feel like you were relaxing at home with the rich aroma of freshly baked goodies. the only problem was at breakfast on the morning of checkout. it appears that the person handling the area was new and completely disorganized/overwhelmed. the choices were limited as items were not being replenished on a timely basis. once again, this was only on the morning of c/o. on previous days of stay breakfast was well organized and plentiful. This winter, the snowy weather and tricky driving has provided some challenges, so I am ready for R & R upon arrival. The staff is friendly and welcoming, willing to do any favor, ask any question, and provide a delicious treat. When the bed is made and you can see the place where people sleep, it's high time to invest in new inventory. a positive though--the breakfasts were good and the staff were pleasant. March 6, 2013

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by A very special experience My job requires me to travel every week and I recently stayed at the Holiday Inn Express in Jamestown, ND. Jamestown is roughly 10hrs driving time from my home in Iowa. During my trip which lasted several days, I came down with the flu and by the time I arrived, I had all of the nasty flu symptoms. I was very sick and needed care but was too far away from home for my wife to help me. I called my wife to let her know of my situation - just in case. I then decided to walk up to the lobby and ask if they might have a thermometer as I felt I was running a fever. I also wanted to tell them of my situation. By the time I walked up to the lobby, they were waiting for me as my wife had called them without my knowledge. Lisa and Kathy were working that night. They took it upon themselves to go to a local store and purchase a thermometer, Gatorade, and chicken noodle soup. They delivered this to my room (soup hot) and also took my temperature. I can't tell you how much I appreciate their efforts. Being so far away from home, it was very comforting to know that they cared. Holiday Inn Express should be very proud of the service they provided at no cost to me personally. Thank you so much Lisa and Kathy! I will always remember you and the special way you cared for me that night. January 29, 2013
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by cold as a platnum member, this is a no-frills place to stay. At check in, worker seemed not interested. I was told to use side entrance, since it was closer, but the door was not working with the card, so I had to walk all the way around. At check out, no one at front counter...had to go into breakfast area to fetch a worker, who even commented on "why wasn't he at front desk to help you?" Room was near freeway and noisy at night. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Comfortable bed, quite room, most expensive stay of trip. Appeared to be a new Holiday Express. The room was clean and comfortable. Our room window looked directly into the next door motel. Couldn't have been more than 30 feet away. Kept curtains closed. The morning breakfast was fair to good. Was the most expensive stay of our 4300 mile road trip even when compared to other Holiday Express we stayed at during this trip. Most likely will try a different motel/hotel next time we stay in Jamestown. October 17, 2012
