The staff is extremely friendly and make you feel welcome the entire time. The rooms are very clean with comfortable beds and an overall relaxing experience. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Quiet room First time to stay at HI Express in Jasper, TX. I requested a quiet room. We stayed at the end of the hall in a two queen room on third floor. Clean and comfortable. Breakfast was great and ended at 9:30am.... Yes, when in Jasper will continue to stay at HI Express, Jasper, TX. March 7, 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by breakfast and airco not so good nice people. clean---up to usual holiday inn express standard which i really like. HOWEVER the breakfast sausage tasted "bad" like maybe spoiled meat and the breakfast offerings a little skimpy. the 2 room suite was really nice though one room is "public", only one room with door that closes to the suite, the other doesnt have privacy. the airco didnt cool and the very nice gal came up to "adjust" the unit because it was CHRONICALLY sticking--it shoulda been fixed before i came--who wants to call? overall i would STILL go back as the folks are good folks. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Bed Our stay was very good with one exception: the bed. The mattress was very uncomfortable, and my husband and I were unable to get a good night's sleep. The staff was great, and the rooms and hotel are clean. If it weren't for the mattress, I would have given them the highest marks across the board. February 28, 2013
