Very nice property and nice staff. We will stay here again next time we are in Tulsa

This hotel is just ok. We arrived at 2pm (check-in was at 3pm) to see if a room might be available early, which it wasn't. No big deal, we went to eat and came back at 3pm. Room still wasn't ready, we were told 10-15 minutes. 45 minutes later we were finally able to check in. We were not recognized as Spire level members and no room upgrade was offered, despite the fact that at least half the rooms were empty.
On the plus side, the breakfast was pretty good and the pool/sauna/hot tub were fantastic.

Staff was excellent.
Only downer is beer could have been colder during hospitality hour. However, I did not expect beer so that was just a plus anyway....

The Holiday Inn Express in Jenks was a good hotel to stay in for us for several reasons. We were in town to visit family and wanted to make sure we were able to also go see the Aquarium and to have a guaranteed place to swim - for these reasons, this hotel was a good option.
That's where the goodness ends.
The breakfast left much to be desired. The fake egg omelets with fake cheese on the inside was probably one of the worst things, if not THE worst thing I've eaten. The sausage left much to be desired.
Because I am gluten intolerant, I did not partake in the eating of the biscuits and gravy, but did hear they were pretty good.
When we visited the pool, it was filled with 12 rambunctious tween-aged girls throwing a party. The "adults" there were sitting outside with the doors propped open, where they had pizza, soft drinks and beer.
It was obvious to me that no hotel staff was aware of this going on in the pool - mostly because there were no towels. I do believe the pools should be more closely monitored on weekends when you know there are a lot of kids staying in the hotel.
I was disappointed in these two things (the pool and the breakfast) but was pleased with the rest of our stay.
The beds were comfortable. The room was clean.
The access to parking and location were good as well.

We were told we would have 2 queen beds: "yes, you will have queen beds when you get here, We cancelled our rooms at another hotel, on asurance we had 2 queens at HIE. Upon arrival at HIE in Jenks, the general manager at the front desk, checking customers in said, "I don't know what she told you." We have one king bed and told us if we didn't like that, "You can go somewhere else." We Should Have ! That was good advice, room smelled of mold and mildew, my son said, it smells like an old dorm room, we found out why later ! If you come to this hotel and they invite you to go somewhere else, GO ! RUN !
We were in Jenks for a wedding at 6:00 and had no time to look for another hotel.
I slept on a pallet on the floor , gave my wife and son the bed.
At 4:30 am, awakened to dripping, running water noise and rain pouring into our room, hole in the ceiling, have pictures !
Wallets, cell phone, keys, wrapping paper on table where rain settled soaked. Got the ice bucket to catch the rain, horrible experience, was already tired, slept bad !
Upon telling the staff and general manager (the one from the day before) she did not send anyone to our room to check on the hole, or the leak and did not seem too concerned about our rain-soaked cell phone or that we slept in a wet room. Staff unfriendly, not helpful at all, could have at least said Iam sorry or what can we do. Poor management and staff, we stay at alot
Of Holiday Inns, we love Holiday Inns, but this one, was the worst !
