The only negative to my stay was that there was some type of college function in the area and there were college kids roaming the halls most of the night and going in and out of there rooms and slamming doors but that isn't the hotels fault. Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Unhappy 1 - The room I ended up with was a handicap room. That meant all clothes hanging fixtures were waist high. I couldn't hang all my clothing because they dragged on the floor. When I asked why I got this room, I was told that's all they had available... even though I had reserved and paid a month in advance. 2 - The fire alarm. During the daytime hours on the day I arrived, the fire alarm went off twice (that I know of). But it went off a 3rd time at 4:00 AM the following day. That was unacceptable. They knew of the problem during the day, why didn't they fix it before it woke up every guest, sending them all out their doors at 4 AM? 3 - The in-room safe. The door was open but left in a locked position. When I asked the front desk for help, they simply gave me a code to unlock it. Once I did that, I reported that the keys were sticking, so I didn't feel comfortable using it not knowing if I'd be able to get back into it I asked if the keys could be cleaned. When I returned to the room that night, I found a note on the desk from maintenance. It had the same 'master code' I had been given earlier. What good is a safe once you've broadcast the combination? 4 - Noisy. The room directly above me had children who kept running and jumping late into the night. There were also kids running in the hallways. This was very disturbing and certainly added to my dis-satisfaction. If I had been on vacation or holiday, I might not have been as disturbed. But I was on a business trip. I needed some peace and quiet during the evening and overnight to prepare for my next day. That was not to be found at this hotel. April 4, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Staff very friendly and accomodating We were put in a non-smoking room but noticed the smell of smoke in the room and in the hallway. We then notice that on the floor that the rooms on one side were non-smoking and the rooms on the other side of that same floor were smoking rooms. We talked the front desk and they were able to move us to a non-smoking floor which we were very pleased with. Something happened with the pool area with too much chlorine so we were unable to swim due to being overcome with the smell. The staff were alerted to this and reported it to the maintenance right away. The breakfast person was very friendly and kept the breakfast clean and food stocked. Maggie was very helpful and was able to go above and beyond to help us with our requests. Overall our experience was very positive. We are planning on staying there again! April 1, 2013

MAGGIE,STEPHANIE,RICH, KAYLA,MAX & ROSA (MY CLEANER) WERE ALL OUTSTANDING ACCOMMEDATING, AND VERY ATTENTIVE TO MY FAMILIES NEEDS. WE WILL SURELY RETURN TO THIS HOTEL WHEN WE COME BACK TO THE JOLIET AREA TO SEE OUR FAMILY. GREAT STAY I HAD, THANK YOU. March 30, 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Staff helpful and accommodating We had a large group staying at the hotel, and one afternoon our event was cancelled because of bad weather. The staff allowed us to use their large conference room to play quiet games. They answered our questions and were prompt to take care of our needs. The rooms are a little small, but I would still recommend this hotel. March 11, 2013
