It seemed we were bothering the clerk during check-in. She was unresponsive to our questions and quite surly. Then we took the elevator to the second floor, where the hallway reeked of cigarette smoke. Thankfully, our room did not have the same overpowering stench. However, the bathroom counter had some sticky areas and hairs left on it. On the plus side, the cookies at check-in were very good, the bed was comfortable, and the room was quiet. A good night's sleep helped make up for all the other deficiencies. One nice touch was the ice water with lime in the lobby, available when we checked out.

I am usually a big fan of holiday inn hotels however this was the worst stay that I've ever had! I had to change to change rooms 3 times during my stay. The first room was dirty and the air-conditioner did not work. The second room was ok but had a large family in the next room that argued all night long! The 3rd room smelled like an ashtray. After 3 attempts at a decent room, and the hotel staff making me feeling like a huge inconvenience, I decided to move to a different hotel.

We were given a room on the second floor. We brought our things in and went to enjoy our evening meal.
When we returned I wanted to take a shower and relax after driving all day. The room had no hot water.
I called the office and reported the problem. The man who did the repairs was not available. The girl at the desk asked if a handicap room would suit our needs. She promptly arranged a room down stairs, which was more to our liking anyway.
It was a little extra effort on our part, but understandable. Your staff were willing to do what was necessary to make our stay a comfortable one.
The experience will in no way keep us from staying with you in the future.

I had a good experience at this location.
Whenever I needed assistance, everyone
was pleasant and eager to assist me.
I did have to adjust my stay dates because
of rate variance. All employees I came in
contact with were very pleasant and helpful.

Everything was great, friendly staff, good breakfast, centered amongst a variety of eateries and shopping areas right off I-70 by Ft. Riley. Rooms are clean and confortable and is far enough away from the interstate that noise isn't an issue. Additionally, the internet keeps a strong connection, and doesn't seem to experience any high-volume lag, even when using a wireless connection. I also appreciate the posting of rewards members and gift bag upon arrival.
The only negative thing about this location is the odor in the main stairwell. It smells like a full bottle of Mr. Clean is dumped into every day instead of cleaning it.

We arrived late and got immediate attention including our priority club member welcome bag which we greatly appreciated the water and crackers snack. Thank you for making us feel special. The only con we had was that there was two of us in our room and we had to negotiate for a second bottle of water at no charge.

I had a difficult time sleeping as my room was hot and I kept the AC running on high as it was not cooling my room very well, AC units are undersized. Ran into this same situation in the exercise room, AC unit was undersized. Also the exercise room has only a couple of machines in it, and the TV volume did not work. I also thought I would be getting 1,000 bonus points for each night I stayed as shown on the Holiday Inn website when I booked my room and I checked my statement today, 8-21-13 and the stay is on my account but no bonuse points ?

Hotel has a lot of wear. Property needs a refresh. Beds and pillows are still the best thing going for it. Location is main reason for stay.

I planned to stay for three nights. When I phoned ahead for late arrival they said they had no record of my reservation so I had to work through making arrangements again. I had pre-paid one night and paid for the other with rewards points prior to arrival. They said they had no record of me pre-paying for the one night. The bed was old, had no support and needed replaced. Our keys continued to not work from day to day and now I've inquired about charges on my credit card that I can't get resolved until I speak with the manager two days from now. Overall the worst experience staying at a Holiday Inn Express and would not recommend it.

The staff at this hotel was outstanding. Always willing to help at anytime of the day! The only problem that I have with the hotel is that with 60 rooms they only have one washer and one dryer. That's the only problem. But the staff makes up for it. Example: I was drying my clothes, I went upstairs to put more money into the dryer machine. A lady took out my wet clothes and put hers in!! I should have said something but I went down to the front desk tell them the problem. They took my clothes and put it in their bed sheet dryers and dried and folded my clothes. The Staff is Great!! Makes up for all the short comings this hotel has.

I was just passing through and decided to stop at this hotel. I made a reservation an hour before on my phone. I am a IHG platinum member. Upon walking in the lobby I noticed nobody was at the front desk but I could hear someone talking in the back. After waiting for 15 minutes the front desk person appears while talking on the phone. After talking on the phone for another 5 minutes (not sure if it was work related or not) she hung up. Did not offer an explanation or apology, and proceeded to check me in. The time was 12:30am. I have never waited this long to check in and after driving for 11 hours that day, I just wanted to go to sleep.
The next morning my co-worker told another girl at the front desk what happened to us last night. As my co-worker is telling the story, the lady who checked us in walks around the corner. Again doesn't apologize for making us wait 20 min while she talked on the phone last night, she just stood there with her arms crossed and a disgruntled look on her face. I have NEVER had this type of customer service at any IHG property. I most likely won't be going through Junction City again but if I do, I will definitely be staying at another hotel.

When we arrived at our room the door was open, resting on the lock's latches. Nothing seemed to be wrong with the room itself so we went on in. We later realized that the key cards did not work to unlock the door...the green light lit up but the door would not unlock. One of us had to always stay behind in the room to open the door otherwise we would have had a time-wasting lock out. We had arrived late in the evening and were leaving for an appointment early the next morning. Due to our tight schedule it would have been inconvenient to get maintenance involved to repair the lock during our stay. The main florescent light in the bathroom also would only partially come on...like it needed a new starter or ballast or complete bulb replacement. The light problem would have been very noticeable to housekeeping and the fact that the door was left ajar upon our arrival made it obvious that someone on the staff knew that the lock wasn't working. The fact that both issues had not been taken care of before placing quests in the room was unacceptable. At checkout we reported these issues and our dissatisfaction to the front desk staff who documented our comments in a spiral notebook.The room rate had been inflated (doubled) due to a university graduation in the next town over, so that made the experience all the more frustrating.

Great for a TDY stay at Ft Riley, I have stayed at this facility multiple times and every time is a pleasure. Friendy staff, great location with lots of eating choices within walking distance.

the hotel was okay, looks like needing some upgrading or remodeling. there was a weird odor coming from the hallway, told the desk clerk but did not get anything back from it. the pool was okay but the hot tub, filtering system/ jets were not working half of the time. I think it was from the soccer team that was staying there for the weekend. had a problem with running out of towels at pool and in room for the family and other guests.

I was not treat as a platinum member, because everywhere I go nation wide i have an upgrage room and have the complimentary water and chips offered to me , and i never treated this way in this hotel. But everything is good, and i can't complain.and i will still come back in this hotel this coming August sometimes together with my company co-workers (BAESYSTEMS).

The hotel has improved sine my last visit and the internet service was awesome compare to last visit. The staff was friendly and our group that consist of Platinum members were recognized as general priority members on their board and the keys to the room stop working for three of us on our third stay of our stay but we enjoy the location and will stay again.

The pool area and common areas are great. We have stayed here many times because our grand daughter is here. The pool is very comfortable. It has some paint coming off of the bottom so I am sure it will be getting serviced I the future. The hot Tub is very very hot. The eating area is very useable and bright. I think the beds and pillow are in need of replacement. The bed in our room was so soft on the side it was uncomfortable to sleep in. I will stay here again but only because my family is here and this is the best hotel in the area.

Overall we had a pretty nice stay there. The staff was friendly and I enjoyed talking with them. I was hoping for little better rate that I received we stayed a total of 5 nights there. We were visiting my daughter and our grandkids my son-in-law had recently left for Afganstan. Also it was very cold within the motel we had to wear our jackets to eat breakfast.
