Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by horrible experience We travel often and we are gold members. Normally holiday inn express is always a great place to stay. However, our visit to the Holiday Inn Express in Kalispell turned out to be more of a nightmare. We are native American and we were discriminated against by other guests in the pool. The night manager did not know how to handle such an incident. The incident happened on a Saturday, we checked out on Sunday. I was informed by the front desk clerk that I should contact the GM on Monday with my complaint. Monday morning I left several messages and my calls were not returned. Finally in the late afternoon I was able to reach Brandon the front GM. I explained in detail about our incident in the pool, I assumed he may have read an incident report of some sort from the night manager Dillion. apparently Dillion didn't seem it was that important to write it in his shift report. Brandon listened but seemed completely preoccupied, in fact I could hear him talking to someone else in the back ground as he pretended to be listening to me. He then offered a half hearted apology that was completely unsympathetic. Needless to say that was our very first stay at this motel and will definitely be our last. August 26, 2015

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent for business Only one comment besides the great stay. 1. Fully our fault, but my wife just picked up the phone and called back home. we understand the long distant rate from the room and should have used our phone card. She forgot. really because she felt so at home that she just "called" and forgot about using the card. rates added up to a big amount and a surprise at check out. Again our fault. A big red warning sign stating something like " Long Distant phone rates based on prevailing rates". Or something like that would be nice. All else could not have been better. Don T. August 25, 2015

Very helpful and courteous staff who kindly assisted with a query that I needed to direct to the HI we had stayed at the previous night. August 23, 2015

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Many nice touches I enjoyed my stay at the Holiday Inn Express in Kalispell. I appreciated it is a pet-friendly hotel with a dog that hangs out behind the front desk. The staff were friendly and the place was clean. The breakfast had more choices than most hotels. I especially appreciated the gluten-free bagels. I also enjoyed the balcony. My only complaint is that check out should be at noon and not 11. August 17, 2015
