Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 Great stay, poor customer service regarding billing.
Our stay was great however two days after we got home we had an additional 115 dollars charged to our card. When I called they said that the cleaning staff notified them that we had a yellow lab we were hiding and the room was a non-pet room and that was the reason for the charges. When we made our reservations I told them we had a dog. Every day about 3 times a day we took our dog in and out of the hotel right past the front desk and all their employees. When we arrived the front desk lady said that they had a suite available that they were going to upgrade us to for free. We were so excited! Well that room wasn't a pet room come to find out and they charged us for the "non-pet" room cleaning fee. It has been a week now since they said they would refund us our money and it still has not happened. I've called several times to find out why and they said it will go through. Our stay there was AWESOME. I would definitely recommend it except for the fact that we have had this nightmare afterwards. I don't know that we will be staying there again. If there was a hotel with as great of rooms and facilities in the area we would definitely stay there instead of Holiday Inn Express. But this is the nicest hotel in the area so we would consider staying here again. If this happens again we will stay somewhere else regardless of how nice this hotel is.

I never saw a room like it. Had 3 queen size beds in one room. It was so much fun all 3 couples got to share the one room!!! Didnt have to check on anyone.
The staff was so polite and the breakfast was so good and what a selection!! We didnt even need lunch after all that. They changed to different things quite often too.
Thanks to everyone who made our stay so wonderful

Thank you! Over the Christmas holiday season, my wife and I stayed in the Kanab HI Express as part of our travel plans. I travel 60% of the year with my job and always stay with HI. As a Platinum member, I have to say that the Kanab HI Express is by far the best HI I have stay at. I wish that this hotel was part of my normal travel schedule. My recommendation... us the Kanab HI Express as a model site for your other hotels.

A great Place to stay on the way to Zion. Large comfortable room, great staff and good recommendation to a local Cafe for dinner. Breakfast standard HI Express which we found very good on our USA trip

Staying at the Holiday Inn Express was a good experience overall. The breakfasts are amazing and the staff friendly. Only (small)gripes were a TV screen which was pointing downwards and couldn't be swivelled up, and air conditioning which was too noisy (fortunately we could just open a window - an option not available in many hotels!). Top points for allowing animals to stay for sleepovers. If you're in the area and an animal lover make sure you visit Best Friends sanctuary.

Kanab is centrally located between many of Utah & Arizona's natural wonders. Our destination was The Wave. It was wonderful being only 40 miles away.
Rooms are spacious & clean. The town is friendly and charming. I will definitely return soon.

Everyone was very pleasant and nice. I really enjoyed m stay. Even better when the manager helped me out what my realized my car battery was dead and I had a 9 hour drive ahead of me.

This was a nice place to stay. Service was excellant and the breakfast was good. Desk was helpfull and friendly. Pool was heated and nice size.

We stayed here for four days. The room was more like a suite than a hotel room. We had a living area and kitchenette without knowing that was what we were getting. It was a nice surprise. Also, we volunteered at Best Friends Animal Sanctuary the last day and decided to bring an animal for a sleepover at the last minute. The hotel staff were accomadating for a small fee and actually interested in the pet we brought. The free breakfast was appreciated, but we found there were only a couple of things that were eatible.

Enjoyed our short stay here, seems to be the best place in town. Nice clean facilities, with a nice breakfast with lots of variety. Only area for improvement we could suggest is a bit more light in the somewhat dark rooms. All in all we would stay here again.

This was my 3rd time staying here while visiting Best Friends. It's always comfortable and clean. The staff is very nice and helpful. It's super cute, all done in a cowboy/Western theme. The hotel is within walking distance to downtown Kanab shops and restaurants and is convenient to Best Friends. It's also a great location if you're going to Zion, Bryce, or Grand Canyon.
A nice little breakfast with good choices is included with the room price. The breakfast area is kept immaculate and the staff there was friendly & helpful. They have great amenities including an indoor pool/jacuzzi, afternoon cookies, and laundry facilities.
The rooms are very comfortable and you'll get a great night sleep on the beds. The suites are extra large and include a sitting area, microwave, and small refrigerator. Baths in both room types are spacious and well appointed with a great shower. This hotel is also pet friendly with an extra nightly charge so that you can travel with your pet or do a sleepover with an animal from Best Friends when you're volunteering. This is a busy hotel and they do get lots of tour bus business, so it's not always that quiet.

We really enjoyed our stay that this hotel. The room was spacious and very nice. It was clean and we were greeted warmly when we arrived. We would definately stay at this hotel again and we would recommend it.
