we found the Holiday Inn to be very clean and well managed. The staff was friendly and willing to help. The only problem we had was with noisy guests slamming doors and yelling in the hallway.

This hotel is badly in need of a refresh. The beds were the worst I have seen in years, there was absolutely no springs left at all on the edges of the mattress and the middle sagged just as much. The small refrigerator had 8 inches of ice in the top and could barely slide a to-go container inside. The bathroom was in very poor repair, paint peeling, shower rod bent downwards almost falling off, severe mildew issues and in need of a fan to alleviate damage from steam.

I always choose holiday inns because of the protein choices for breakfast. This one had turkey sausage which i really liked. Some of course would hate this option ....The staff was excellent as always. For some reason we couldn't connect to the internet but we had a tight schedule and were too busy to get it fixed, so it wasn't that big of a deal. I've never had this problem before at a holiday inn. It's a very good location with alot of restaurants and stores nearby, yet it was very quiet. We had a pet with us and its nice to find a pet friendly hotel. The grounds are very nice and the lighting was also nice.

I travelled here for business and needed the internet for an early morning webcast. I was able to connect but there was no service. I called the tech support who tried but was not successful. He said that they were changing some equipment. So, at 5am I checked out to go park in front Lowes to connect to my webcast. The bathroom had soapscum in the ink and hair on the floor. I reported this to the front desk and she wrote everything down along with my phone # for the manager.

at first i was upset they changed the decor but the feeing that i was home and with family made up for it. the staff is great and the bed was the best ever.

I travel for business and stay in hotels 1 - 3 nights every week. I checked in after driving 9 hours, grabbed dinner, went up to my room and quickly fell asleep. I needed to be up early to prepare for a company webcast. The internet was down so I called the tech service. He had the front desk try to reset but it still did not work. He called back saying they were doing some equipment changes and that was probably the cause. So at 5am I cleaned up to go find a Starbucks so I could connect for the webcast. The sink was full of soap scum, there was hair on the bathroom floor and the vent was filthy. I retold everything to the front desk and the clerk wrote it all down with my contact info to give to the manager.
I was never contacted.

it is important to note that the directions were wrong -- it's not behind the pizza hut; it's behind the taco place. can't see the pizza hut from the road. had to call the front desk.

Overall, good value. It rained the entire weekend, so we weren't able to use the pool, but that's not the hotel fault. The suite was nice - separate bedroom area and living area. The bathroom was a little small, and the door was too big for it (pocket doors that slide into the wall would be GREAT). But things were clean, close to several shopping stores and restaurants, close to Lake Norman. I would stay again if we go back to this area.

Room was clean and neat (newer facility) Staff was very nice and professional. The coffee was very weak and not up to standards. Not a fan of buffet breakfast.

The place is great. I have stayed there before and will stay again.
It's great that pets are accepted.
My only issue is the food.
The omelettes were terrible and the eggs (scrambled) very institutional .
No cinnamon rolls :-(

This hotel was an extremely pleasant experience for me. My room was pretty close to perfect and the location was close to shopping, restaurants and even movies.The staff was friendly enough. My trip was business but I thought what a great place to stay being so close to Lake Norman if you had a couple of extra days to enjoy the lake.

The hotel was convenient and clean. The staff was friendly and very accommodating. On Sunday, the last day of our stay, the elevator had broken down and could not be serviced until Tuesday. Our room was on the 5th floor, but Robin took care to move us to a new room on the 2nd floor to eliminate some of the level of stairs. The elevator was out of order, we were tired from a long day activities, BUT Robin and the rest of staff were very professional and friendly. We would not hesitate to stay there again!
