It was a stressful time, but getting a good night's sleep at the Holiday Inn each night, plus experiencing the care and concern from the hotel staff, helped make the whole situation bearable. It was so convenient to be within walking distance of the hospital, and having a 24-hour convenience store next to the hotel was also a big help. Parking was a breeze. I highly recommend this hotel. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Awesome Service All the employee's were friendly and helpful with questions. I like how the floors where the rooms are need a key to access. The rooms were very clean and spacious! We forgot a pair of jeans and shirt of my son's in the room. When I called they said they was at the front desk. I asked if it was okay if they sent them to us. They didn't have a problem mailing them to us(I pd postage). November 11, 2014

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Construction Kept me awake.... Nice place, friendly people, good accomodations but the construction 3 doors down from me during the day kept me awake the entire time. I got no sleep and no satisfaction from the staff when reporting the issue daily. Would have been nice to get transferred to a different room or floor where I could sleep. This is the most expensive H.I. Express in the KC area and I got no sleep for 3 days.... and no compensation for my misery ! November 5, 2014
