Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Call from the property We spent a night in the hotel. In the morning there was an issue. We continued to travel and stay at a few other Holiday Inn Express for the rest of the week. During our return drive home we received a very welcomed phone call from the hotel management. This is the first time this has happened. We were pleased just to receive the call. This call did make us feel better that they do care. when we make our way back through Kansas city this will be on the spend a night again list. thanks 8230 N church Rd. June 6, 2016

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Maintenance issue received no restitution During the early morning hours (5:15AM), we were awaken by dripping water. The water was dripping out of the bathroom exhaust fan onto the stool. The ceiling was showing signs of water. We put the room trash can under the water, called the front desk to advise we had water running from the ceiling. No call back, no one came to the room. Being unable to use the stool or shower we packed and went to the front desk. We advised the front desk the trash can was 1/2 full of water by already. The night auditor said he could do nothing about it and was sorry. What about the rest room and showers we asked? Sorry, I can leave a note for the manager. We walked to the breakfast area for breakfast and in walks the night auditor. He states, "I took $20.00 off the room rate because I felt bad and did not know how much or what I could actually do". at least he was concerned about our plight. I would think all desk workers would have some authority to offer a room to do the morning business and shower. Guess not. I am sure this does not always happen but there should be some urgency when someone says there is water coming from the ceiling. Just trying to keep our hotels clean and mold free and available as soon as possible. Maybe we should not care. On to the next motel to finish our trip. June 2, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Gave My Booked Room Away My room was not available when I arrived despite the fact that I had confirmed my room just 3 hours prior. Apparently I was not the only one this had happened to that evening and multiple guests were being given the same room. They had no roll away beds or additional bedding to make up for the fact that 3 people were going to be sharing a room with 1 bed and no other area on which to sleep. It was a very disappointing stay to say the least. May 31, 2016
