Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Could not reach front desk..... Staff was responsive and helpful. However, the phone was awful, when you hit the front desk button you got Cabelas and when you dialed the number from cell could not reach front desk. Trying to set up a wake up call turned into an hour episode......Rooms are not well built, walls thin and not quiet. I've stayed here many times before, so will just write this stay off as unusual. Hope my next stay is better or I'll be staying at airport. February 24, 2015

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by recent stay 2015 This HI needs a serious update. The walls and ceilings are cracking. The wallpaper is out of date and starting to come off the walls. You could actually see nail heads trying to come through the wallpaper. I liked the walk in shower but it was dirty from so many feet. I probably could have seen more dirt if the light in the shower didn't act as a strobe light turning on and off on it's own. Forget your computer at home because the WIFI was so slow. I am fortunate to have a cell phone. The button for the wake up call and front office placed a call to Cabelas. Therefore you had to go downstairs or call the front office from your cell phone to actually speak to the front desk personnel. The person on duty this night said they would have maintenance look at the phone system. The next day the same problem existed. This is a nice area of KC to stay in. Unfortunately, this hotel does not live up to the expectations of an IHG facility. I will not stay here again and cannot recommend. February 1, 2015

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Heat not working correctly I was a little disappointed this time. Although the room was clean and comfortable the heating system did not work it basically was cold or the room if I turned it up the room was overheated and I had a very uncomfortable night.I tried calling the front desk and no one would answer at 10 PM that night. I did contact them the next morning and they said they would record it but that did not help me at all. January 28, 2015
