I want to thank the staff of the Holiday Inn Westport K.C. for the excellent, friendliest service I've ever had at a hotel chain. You all are the only hotel chain i ever plan on using. Thank you for the comfort and hospitality. -Eric/St. Louis, MO

The room was to much money for the room and not verry cleane . The bed was broke down and not comfortable at all. I could have stayed at a 4 stare for the same money.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by armadillolady Nice hotel but has a few inconveniences
Hotel seemed new and was very nicely decorated, with spacious rooms. Room was very quiet and comfortable. Breakfast was adequate but not outstanding. My chief complaint was the lack of parking. The hotel shares a lot with a neighboring restaurant and 2 of the three nights I stayed there, parking was a bit of a challenge. However, the staff was courteous and offered to show me some additional parking spaces not accessible by the restaurant patrons.

We needed a place to stay and this was absolutely adequate. Staff was very welcoming. Room was quiet. Breakfast was better than we expected. Parking is tight.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by TE209 No less than I would want at a hotel
Everything was as the website described. Breakfast was a little iffy, but I think I was just nervous for an interview I had. The internet kept resetting, too. I didn't care too much for that. I had to keep re-entering the password. Parking was a little limited and it was definitely "park at your own risk." Overall, nothing that made my stay terrible. Would stay again should I have to.

This hotel has a great location if you are going to be going out in the Westport area. Everything is within walking distance. The staff at check in was efficient and friendly. The hotel is in need of a major upgrade and remodel. The lobby has new furniture and the common areas on the floors have newer carpet but the rooms themselves are not updated like most other HIE hotels. The bathrooms are small and the shower was old. The beds were comfortable. And for the low price, it was worth putting up with the lack of upgrades. I would also add that I did get upgraded because of my status but that was the only extra perk.

From the minute we walked in, it was a positive experience. Exceptional front desk greeting, (sure wish I would have gotten her name!) as well as the very, very hard working woman who managed the breakfast. Do not have a single complaint !!!! With the exception of those silly Cleveland Browns handing the Chiefs their victory. Now....if you could just help me get a room in Athens, OH for my son's graduation. Missed the boat and did not book on the magic day when reservations were taken :(

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by cattle9999 Failure to clean bathroom
Our room was good and clean. One bed a little spongier than the other. Was near the ice machine but that noise wasn't too bad. However, each day-- the beds were made, but the towels were not picked up, trash taken away, or toilet paper refilled. Girl at the front desk knew me by face -- when I came down each night to get more towels.
Tiny bit irritated by the lack of parking.
