The hotel was built about five years ago and we stayed two nights. The room looked very nice and was very comfortable. The breakfast area was one of the best. I would like to stay here again.

This property was a surprise as it was in the middle of so much yet quiet and relaxing. Excellent facilities. Clean spacious room Check-in was a little slow and they could have used a second person during the busy time but courtesy and helpfulness was certainly evident. We were picking up passengers at the Miami Cruise Terminal the next day and it was convenient enough (about a 30 minute drive) and yet in a place we felt safe. The only issue that could use attention (and this could easily be solved with a note on the website) is the fact that GPS does not know Kendall. You need to enter Miami as the city address. I was told this at the desk when I registered and thought then how easy to "fix" the website. I would not hesitate to use this property again when doing anything in the area of SE Florida.

All three computers had extremely slow Internet response on the night of arrival, but the staff was able to correct the problem during the night. Unfortunately, the toner in the printer was depleted, so I couldn't print an airline boarding pass.
The hotel room had a door to a neighboring room, and it was very easy to hear my neighbors talk for hours. I should have changed rooms.....

I had to stay here, since the hotels in the downtown area were sold out because of the college football championship. However, I had a comfortable stay and the highway made it accessible to most of Miami's venues.

I was very dissapointed that one of the morning cleaning staff decided to "attempt" entering my room while I was in the bathroom WITHOUT every knocking or announcing herself before trying to enter my room. Had I not had the door latch engaged she and I would have had a less than enjoyable encounter. In fact, even after she tried to get in with the latch on, she was still trying to force the door open! I had to yell through the closed door to stop trying to open my door. It's a nice hotel, but one idiot with no obvious training can ruin a visit. Oh, when I checked in, the front desk gave me two room keys that still had not been activated. Nice place, lousey help!

This property is hands down the BEST Holiday Inn Express in the entire chain. We have come to this property several years in a row, every December and the hotel just keeps getting better and better. When in south Florida we would NEVER stay anywhere else. Every surface, public space and room are so clean they gleam. The property is well laid out and perfectly situated not “too close” to Miami and an easy jumping off spot for the Keys. We stay in hotels frequently on business, and this is one of the few hotels in the world we look forward to checking into. The staff is perfectly trained and welcoming. Very genuine. Every year the property out does the year before with beautiful Christmas decorations. Every public room and office are wonderfully decorated. We have had more than one “Christmas card” photo taken in the gorgeous lobby. When we stay at this hotel it is so comfortable and well appointed it, it is a pleasure to return. After a hard day of being a “tourist” we feel like we have come “home”, and are able to fully relax. Every detail and need are thought of. This is one property that “gets it right” when catering to their Priority members.

Overall, great hotel. Fitness center needs updating, the weights are lacking and there isn't enough room to do a crunch.

My wife and I stayed at this Holiday Inn Express for a night before heading out to the keys. We found it to be a better value than the hotels next to the airport and it's south of the airport so it was a good location to spend the night before heading out to the keys. The facility was clean and comfortable and the pool area was a great place to enjoy breakfast and coffee in the Florida sunshine. Guests included both leisure and business travelers. If you like Holiday Inn Express business type hotels you won't be disappointed with this location.

I was greeted upon entering, and provided a nice welcome bag of snacks. Then, later on in the evening had some tasty cookies and hot cocoa. The bed was comfortable,and the internet was accesssible in the room.
