This Holiday Inn Express is one the best hotel i stayed as i spend 3 days per week in hotel for last 5 years plus. As sales person i stayed at so many hotels but this hotel stand out because of the staff and cleanliness. They provide personal touch to your stay and make you feel comfortable. They have all the amenities i needed but staff is the best. I would recommend this hotel for anyone travelling in kendallville area.

No complaints. The staff and hotel was great. Even had a live Deer in there front yard passing by.

We enjoyed our stay at the Holiday Inn Express. The people working at the front desk were very friendly. Our room was comfortable and clean. They have a nice, well-kept indoor pool. They offered free evening snacks to all the guests, down in the lobby. The breakfast had a wide selection, and was very good. My only complaint is that it cost us more money than the hotel we usually stay at in Kendallville (which is every bit as nice a hotel) but they were booked full for that night.

I checked in late in the evening. The lady at check-in was friendly and helpful.
When I opened the door to my room, I was overwhelmed with a stuffy smell as if the room had been closed for a year with no ventilation. I quickly turned on both air conditioners and the exhaust fan in the restroom. This did not help before I went to bed.
The next morning, I left the room and came back. When I entered the room in the morning, I noticed it still smelled stuffy but not nearly as bad. I would guess another day with the air conditioners running would make a huge improvement.
Note to hotel staff: Leave the air conditioners and/or exhaust fans on so the rooms don't smell horrible.
A small issue I noticed on the bill: An incorrect Priority Club / IHG Rewards Club membership number is on the bill. I called and the issue was resolved promptly.

This HI Express has a good location for our needs. It is quiet and in a convenient area that has restaurants and shopping. The staff takes care to make us feel welcome. The pool is a nice comfortable temperature. Our room was clean and pleasant.
The worst thing I can say is that there were no apples or bananas at breakfast.

Went there with my 95 year old mother for her family reunion. Everything was great: room, bed service, cleanliness. We couldn't have asked for a better stay. We were able to meet with some family and friends in the lobby for good fellowship. Money we'll spent.
