Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Jon B. Bed Too Firm and Corporate Rates Too High
The bed was too firm and so were the pillows.
Also, their corporate and discounted rates are too high in my opinion.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Spsam1313 Pleasant surprise in snowy night
I checked in during their winter storm nights however everything was perfect. Room was clean and comfortable with all needed amenities. Breakfast carries all types of varieties, entire staff was very friendly. But biggest surprise came to me when i walk out to parking lot after checked out, it was 6:30 am and someone had clean my car free of all 3 to 4 inch snow. I looked around and i notice two employees were cleaning every car in parking lot. One was maintenance person and other was housekeeper. I consider that out of ordinary. For sure keep visiting this hotel.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by lupamuse Nice property!
I was very pleased with my clean, modern room. Kendallville Holiday Inn was the perfect place for me to get some rest before the HUFF 50K race.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Hornet77 Unfriendly Experience
Hotel claims to be pet friendly, but it is not! Ankit, the Front End Manager, was unfriendly and gave us grief from the start over our 10lb dog! Ankit continued this harassment over the dog for the next few days! We were expecting business supplies to be sent to us, and when they arrived we were not notified by the staff that the supplies were at the front desk BEFORE we left! We were not notified until the following week! Hotel was old and dirty, towels were coarse, gray and rough. The atmosphere in the hotel was so unwelcoming that we ended up leaving 3 days later to go to another hotel in Kendallville, where we were greeted with courtesy and respect and were made to feel welcome!

Very poor management. Not as clean as most Holiday Inn properties. Not prone to answering the house phone for wake up calls, etc. Wake up call no on time. There is another Holiday Inn in Auburn, IN, which is a better choice.

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Chrysler Need New Towels and Wash Cloths
I am sorry to say that it is time for new wash cloths and towels. My wash cloths were gray, not white and they appeared to look extremely dingy. The water pressure in the bathroom was not very good as I could not take a shower due to only water coming out of 4 of the shower head holes. I had to resort to a bath both nights. There was a rodent exterminator outside my room in the morning spraying behind vending machines and along the base board of hallway, it would have been more beneficail for them to do that late at night so it would not be seen by customers. I felt like I had to look for potential rodents as I continued my most recent stay there on 12/4 and 12/5. Overall the staff is very hospitable but again the room did not seem very clean and the wash cloth and towels were very old and dirty looking.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by okropegirl Heater did not work!
We had stayed at this location 2 years ago and had a great stay. This time it wasn't as good and I don't know that I would stay again. Our heater did not work and when we called about it they offered no solution. The carpet in the room was very stained. The towels were very rough and smelled very strong. The kleenex were only about half size of normal ones. Just little details like this leave an impression of corners being cut.
