You need to have a lighter blanket available in the room. The bedspread/cover was too heavy and we could not get comfortable temperature-wise. Even though it was cold outside, we finally got up and turned on the a/c. So the night was not comfortable because we were hot/cold, off and on. We probably could have gotten another blanket at the desk, but we would have to have gone down there.
On the other hand, the sweet rolls you offered on the breakfast bar were the best I have ever had in a motel. They will make me come back, and check the cover situation before bedtime.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by DDGER Great Stay in Kerrville, TX
I found a real surprise in my stay in Kerrville for the Elks Clinic - the Holiday Inn Express. Having normally stayed an the YO the Hotel exceeded and I would say surpassed the YO in quiet location with a staff dedicated to my personal enjoyment and overall comfort.
The location was conveniently off the main Highway and easily in reach of the Highway allowing for quick access.
Staff was always there, seems like they could read you mind about needs and wants.
Breakfast feel like a normal sit down and not like a Continental Breakfast.
There was always "Hot" water!

The room was very spacious and comfortable. The bed and pillows were just right. The room allowed my family to have their own space and room.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by VegasGoerge Older Facility Needs Upgrading
The Holliday Inn Express in Kerrville, TX needs major renovation. In my room alone, the bathroom sink was cracked, and the bathtub surround was cracked and coming loose from the wall. The floor coverings throughout the hotel are looking old and worn. I think the window panes in my room had blown out seals, as the moisture never dried up. There were lots of other little signs of age, such as a hole in the wall were something had been removed and nothing put back in its place. There wasn't any decent lighting in the bathroom, it was either blindingly bright with the noisy fan running, or pitch dark. Nothing in between. The bathtub was designed for a midget, and the water wasn't deep enough to cover my thighs when I was sitting in it. The water pressure was very low. The hotel sits back off the street, and the sign out front is so small and poorly placed that I couldn't find the place initially, and had trouble getting back to it at night. They have a beautiful swimming pool, but kept it closed, apparently no solar heating. It was really overpriced for what I got. It was rated very highly online, so I expected a really nice place. It isn't a dump, but it's going in that direction.
