Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Filled our need for a room near Chattanooga We were enroute from Florida to Indianapolis, and this location was a good location for a stopover. Room was comfortable enough. The mattress could have been a little better, but it was OK. TV choices were very, very limited. Breakfast was good, but...would have preferred the scrambled eggs most HIE properties seem to serve instead of the little premade cheese omelets. Not many choices for low cholesterol diets....was hoping for some fruit, but don't remember seeing any. Staff was very nice and very helpful. January 9, 2013

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by surprise in the mountains imagine you're tired and darkness is approaching and you see the friendly sign for Holiday Inn Express off the highway. We were pleasantly surprised with the friendliness of the staff and how nice our suite was. It was a great location, we visited S. Pittsburgh and went to the Lodge Ironwear factory store and had dinner at Steverinos. Would definitely visit again. January 4, 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Much Improved The hotel atmosphere was much improved. The renovations of the last 6 months were nearly complete (just details left). The noisy machines and mess are gone. The changing hotel rates are no longer changing. The hotel was clean and organized. The malfunctioning internet and cable TV have been corrected. Tips to cleaning staff: Don't remove towels and wash cloths when hanging up Don't remove drinking cups when neatly arranged next to toiletries Don't remove the used bars of soap each day December 12, 2012

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Very friendly and helpful staff We stayed at the Holiday Inn Express in Kimball, TN for 3days. The King Suite was a nice size room and well equipped with a microwave, refrigerator and some eating utensils. The room was clean and comfortable. The hotel was in the middle of upgrading carpet, wallpaper, etc. This caused no inconvenience to us at all. It's a great place to stay in the area. November 19, 2012
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Very good, but... Our overall experience was really good. Our only complaint was that we came back to the parking lot late one night and there were no parking spots available. A rental truck pulling a trailer was taking up 6 spots. Two other guest vehicles had to park in a grassy field, luckily it hadn't rained too much to make the ground soft. October 13, 2012
