Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Nice place, easy to navigate from. We were only able to book a room with two queen beds. When we arrived the staff had viewed my Rewards profile and upgraded us with a room with a king bed and a location within the hotel we preferred. The staff was also helpful in providing restaurant locations and directions. it was very comfortable and clean though a little on the pricy side for its location. The hotel was located where you have no problem getting to restaurants, gas or any other business. April 4, 2013
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Paper Thin Walls Unfortunately , we could hear everything in our room from all the surrounding rooms and did not get a good night sleep as well as the hotel looked tired. We stay at Holiday Inn Express often but would not recommend this location April 1, 2013
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Good Service, but dated furniture Service was good. The furniture was well worn and dated. The bed was so low and the matteress was very worn out and uncomfortable. The TV was hard to use and the channels only worked part of the time due to cable issues. Rooms need an update. March 28, 2013

She recommended 'scotty's" for dinner and it was so delicious, and they all knew the young lady by name! This was one of the best HIEs I have stayed in. thanks for making us feel at home. The breakfast was very good. We will stay here again when we go through Kingman. Plenty of parking and easy on/off the interstate. March 24, 2013

It gives you no information that you don't already have and it exposes me to credit card fraud and identity theft. Please stop this outdated practice. March 21, 2013

Smiled and offered assisance. Went out of her way to make sure I was pleased with my room. I will be staying there again and would, of course, recommend highly to everyone. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Perfect stop on Eastbound excursion We were planning a trip to a Santa Fe wedding in August 2012 and wanted to include a stop at Gallup for some Richardson's Trading Post shopping, so Kingman was the logical stopping point after leaving our house on the Southern California coast. The Holiday Inn Express is everything we want: Safe location (we're seniors), clean, well managed and well staffed, and reasonably priced. We were very pleased with our room, the ease of check-in, and amenities available, as well as directions to excellent local restaurants. Easy on and off the freeway. A very good experience and we will return on our next trip East. January 3, 2013

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Wreacked of cigerate smoke Was disappointed when I walked in to front desk and it smelled of cigerate smoke I asked if someone was smoking and she said the smoking rooms were just around the corner, from the lobby. If you are going to allow smoking it should not be so close to the public areas. I am a priorety club member and will not stay at this HIP because of the smoking. Otherwise the hotel was fine! Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by DOGS! Although the check-in form I signed said dogs were not allowed, the lovely & helpful counter girl told me dogs were actually accepted in the No Smoking rooms only. As I left the inn the next morning a large dog "guest" lunged at me twice! The young woman with the dog had it on a leash but the dog weighed nearly as much as she did. I DON'T Tolerate DOGS! Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Not Good We traveled from Michigan to Las Vegas and back by car and this was the room we had with the least value. The exercise room had all broken tread mills. The rooms were old and in one case dirty. Although we had used Holiday Express almost exclusively on our way out to Las Vegas, this experience caused us to switch to another hotel brand for the return trip. December 3, 2012

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Trip to Kingman to see family Everything here was excellent, great inside pool and spa, very clean and safe hotel, the breakfast was very good and well prepared. The only problem, during my trip we stayed in 5 different Holiday Inns during a ten day trip. This was the most expense Holiday Inn. We stayed in Portland Oregon, stayed in Sacramento and Kingman. This hotel had extra fees you will not see when you make online reservation. That is why I values this property as average due to the extra fees you have to pay. The only other problem, they put me in a smoking room, I do not smoke and my reservations was for a non-smoking. They did fix this but it was a pain. November 29, 2012
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by KINGMAN HIE HAS REAL MANAGEMENT PROBLEMS At his request, we have stayed at the Kingman HIE for at least the past three Novembers as we drive my 92-year old Father from Nebraska to Southern California, where he stays with us for the winter. During those stays, we have had several problems, including the following: (1) Late service of the complimentary breakfast (6:30 AM, it used to be 7 AM until I made an earlier complaint), thus preventing an early start on the road; (2) Failure to honor our requests for a ground floor disabled room with an adjoining room for my wife and I, despite advance requests in making the reservations; and (3) Most recently, a lousy and complicated wireless system which only allows one person in the room to log on at a time, absent requesting a "guest" username. We have communicated these complaints directly to the managemnet of the Kingman HIE and to InterContinental Hotels Group. It now remains to be seen whether any improvements are made. My stay at the Kingman, AZ Holiday Inn Express will be remembered as, so far, and there have been many, in my experience with HI, the most pleasant stay at HI Express Hotels. The setting, the ambiance of the hotel lobby, breakfast room (including food), and pleasant greeting on arrival and departure were most excellent. I would recommend it to anyone planning an overnight stay in Kingman, AZ. October 16, 2012
