Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by More for Business than Family Stay The staff were very friendly, the pool is not kept warm enough, the beds are not comfortable, the, ads in the elevator look like the women were paid by the half hour. Makes the vibe seem a little tultry, these women starred in them, breakfast is horrid, as is lunch. However it is kind they offer it, just dont count on it. We have stayed in less expensive places and been treated better breakfast, and lunch, and pool is kept warm so no cramping. Staff and maids very pleasant, but your beautiful view of the city is looking at the huge plant aka city wondering if it is going to explode and kill you with chemicals.. Me personally I think of going to the mountains, as maybe actually having the view of them. they are very professional, business customers are what they r geared for and too April 14, 2015

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Indifferent Desk Clerk I am an IHG Rewards Club Platinum member and average 10 -15 nights/month in IHG properties all over the south. The desk clerk at the Kingsport HI Express did not acknowledge my Rewards Club membership and did not offer Welcome Points. Although the clerk was not openly rude, he was very indifferent. He was not friendly and did not make me feel like he appreciated my business or cared that I was there. That was a first for me. It really is no big deal to me except the lack of service was glaringly obvious as compared to other IHG properties. I travel to Kingsport several times each year but will find somewhere else to stay. March 24, 2015
