This unit does not recognize IHG Reward members nor do they promote membership into the IHG Rewards club. IHG is missing out on potential clients and revenue from the missed opportunities. I have stayed here twice in the last two years, not much I know, but neither time was I offered membership nor acknowledged as a member.

Had fun in the pool with my three year old, breakfast has a lot to be desired! better off driving down the street to Hardees.
All in all not a bad place to stay the hotel is clean and quiet, and very convenient to shopping and malls.

nothing outstanding about the stay, and the hotel was hard to get to, they need more signage around the entrance

I have stayed at a variety of hotels over the past month and this location was one of my favorites. The guest room was big (a member in our party requires a roll-away bed and there was plenty of space in the room for the extra bed--not something we always find in hotel rooms), the staff was friendly and helpful, the breakfast room was clean and the food typical of this hotel chain. The indoor pool was great--lots of big outside windows so it was the best of both worlds...indoor pool with an outdoor feel. I would definitely stay here again.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Butch0013 Very nice hotel, but not part of my Rewards Program!
I spend 140 nights per year at a hotel...typically at a competitor. Their generous rewards program has me locked in, but frankly, hotels like this from IHG are nicer and every bit as good a value. If IHG could figure out how to woo over high volume customers like me via a transition that provides similar value/perks, I'd do it in a snap.

We stayed at the Holiday Inn Express in Kingsport several times over a two week period. It was consistently good. Compared to the other hotels in the area, it was the best place at the best price.
The room we stayed in lacks a configuration that allows more than one person to comfortably relax. The couch is good enough, but another chair is needed. Although I'm not sure if the dimensions of the room will allow for that.
Breakfast was adequate, but the pancake machine they had in the evening more than made up for it. That was actually one of the highlights of our stay!
The fitness room was a disappointment. The treadmill was broken (more than two weeks) and, with the exception of a elliptical machine, the facility mostly lacked practical workout equipment.
Location was good and quiet.
