Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Certainly not the best Holiday stay..... 1)Reservation was wrong. They booked the reservation for one night, had to correct the next morning. 2)TV had the wrong remote, I left it at the desk the first morning and asked them to leave the right one in the room. 3)When I returned in the afternoon I checked at the desk and they were unaware but they gave me a remote to carry up. 4)When I went up I found out that the keys did not work due to the reservation mix up. 5) I went back down stairs and got the key updated and returned to the room I found out the remote did not work I called the desk and the evening guy came up and gave me the correct remote. 6) Never received my morning paper or welcome bottle of water. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Best Place in Town We love to stay at this Holiday Inn. Very clean, very nice staff and Breakfast is wonderful. We even held a family reunion there using their conference room - great fun had by all. The L-suites are great with a sitting area and extra TV - be sure to ask for it!!! Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by No housekeeping services on second day and other problems I wish I could give the hotel a good review. I was told it was the best hotel in Kingsville. I was at the hotel for a 3 night stay for business. I returned to the room at the end of the second day and found that the room wasn't serviced by housekeeping. I called the front desk and was told that housekeeping had left but they would try to get a hold of them and would call me right back. I called the front desk again 1 1/2 hours later and they said that they couldn't reach housekeeping and "maybe they didn't clean the room because they knew I was going to be there for a 3 night stay". I responded that I have never heard of such a policy. I asked her to send up some towels and she did that quickly. The next day the room had been "serviced" but the only thing that had been done was making the bed and replacing towels. The shower curtain was still dirty and had multiple strands of hair on the lining, the kleenex tissue box was empty, the toilet paper was not replaced (the two rolls were almost empty), and there was no shampoo or soap left. There were a few items on the floor that had not been picked up and tossed away. I was very disappointed in the quality control regarding housekeeping. November 7, 2012
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by New, Clean, Comfortable and a nice place to relax If you are visiting Kingsville, Tx for work, pleasure, or visiting Naval Air Station Kingsville, this is the ONLY place to stay. I have tried the others and none come close to the cleanliness of the facility, and warmth of the employees here. On the bonus side there is a swimming pool in the back to cool off in, which if you know southern Texas you know you will need. You don't need to drive to Corpus just stay here and relax.
