hotel staff was always helpful. I enjoyed a very comfortable room during my stay at HIE/Kinston. I will return.

First thing I noticed when I arrived was how torn and tattered the US Flag was. Very disappointed that you would allow that to happen.
Otherwise, nice stay. Please go to the post office and obtain a new flag.

This property is one of my favorite. The staff is professional and courteous. I am beyond pleased with the service I receive at the Kinston Holiday Inn Express.

The room was adequate although the bathroom had been very poorly remodeled at some point. The property was difficult to get to, but the scenic view of the cemetery almost makes up for it. :)
It's the only hotel that is in the Priority Rewards network, so I'd stay there again if ever I have to return to the area.

Horrible. My room on the second day smelled of raw sewage. Several people I was travelling with had the problem the first night. Front desk said they would look into it. Heard nothing back from them. This is not an isolated instance after talking to several people.

The room was comfortable enough, but there was an issue with the Bathroom (smelled). Then Friday night a couple of Little League teams checked in and it was a meele. The kids thought it was great fun to run and yell up and down the hallways. Being a wood structure building the upstairs hallway resounded with the thudding of kids running around. Hotel Staff made no attempt to controll the situatiuon let alone the parents. Of course by 10 o'clock they quieted down, but 6 am came around pretty early. Management was sympethetic to the situation but maybe next year when the teams want to come back, management needs to lay down the rules to the coaches and parents.
