The room was damp and eventually soaking wet carpet. It turns out the water was dripping from the AC unit inside the room. My children and I got a cold by the end of othe second night stay because the problem was never fixed. Upon arrival I complained about the damp carpet and the second day the maintenance man came by, put down old towels on the floor and never returned. When I checked out all I got for my inconvenience was an insincere apology.

Well located, well maintained hotel. Staff is courteous and helpful. Good value for money.

The Staff at the Holiday Inn Express were great. The rooms on the other hand another story. It is my opinion the Hotel is in desperate need of updating. The tiles don't match in the bathroom. The room has a really bad musty smell. Even though on the top floor, the walls are paper thin and you hear everything in the hallway. I can only imagine being on a lower floor. Oh and the air conditioner, when it kicks on, sounds like a truck.
I should mention, they offered to move us, but not only a pain an it would have been the 2nd floor.
The Holiday Inn Express in Woodland Hills CA really set the bar High. That location is amazing.
