The internet was extremely slow and at times non-existent. Otherwise the property and stay was near excellent.

I was pleasantly surprised with my stay at the Holiday Inn Express in Kittanning PA. I don't know what I was expecting but I was presented with a very clean and comfortable room, a great staff, and and a good breakfast in the morning. Loved the pancake maker!

I've stayed here before and always enjoy the staff and amenities.
My only complaint is that the bathroom light and fan aren't on a separate switch. When the light is on the fan is also......and it's very noisy.

We were greeted immediately and had our keys within minutes of arriving. We were about an hour early to designated check-in time, but we were given a room promptly. Unfortunately, whoever stayed in our room before us had left a foul odor - I'm pretty sure it was reheated Indian food. We asked for another room after relaying the dilemma. We were given the only available room - The one adjacent to the lobby desk and the elevators. The lady at the desk sent housekeeping to our original room with an air purifier. Our new room was clean and comfortable, and it actually wasn't loud as we anticipated. We were with a wedding block so I saw many rooms during our stay and all the rooms were nice - I think that first one we were given was definitely out of the ordinary. We really enjoyed our stay and woudl recommend it to anyone in the area.
Plus the hotel was next to a plaza with groceries, liquor stores, etc. Everything we needed was minutes away from our room.

Great place to stay after a LONG day of travel. We were able to get a good night's sleep before we saw family in the morning. The hotel is new and very clean. Staff was friendly. Food was great as always with HI Express. Location was convenient to our destination, easy access from highway and plenty of restaurants, grocery stores and other stores nearby.
Only complaints: Pool was supposed to be heated but was very cold. Was told it should be 86 degrees but it definitely was not. The only reason that this even matters is that I am recuperating from knee replacements and do water therapy everyday. After a long day of traveling, I was looking forward to getting in the pool but could not because of the temperature. We almost always take advantage of late checkout with our Priority Club membership. It is usually 1 or 2 but was 11:30 at this location. The mattresses were a little too soft. These are not any things that would prevent us from definitely staying here again.
We are always pleased with the service received from HI Express. Thank you!

Thanks to the friendly staff who went out of their way to offer a memorable stay for our daughter and son-in-law. Their stay was a perfect ending to a beautiful day. We are always pleased with the service received from HI Express. Thank you!
