I was coming in for a long weekend for Outer Banks Bike Week. Although the calendar said it was Spring, the temperatures were unseasonably colder. After riding 190 miles on my Harley in damp, chilly weather, I was nearly frozen by the time I crossed the Wright Memorial Bridge. As I turned the corner on 158 toward Kitty Hawk, the Holiday Inn sign was like an oasis in the distance. Upon arrival, I was given a very warm and friendly greeting from the two nice ladies at the front desk. They gave me a gift bag with some snacks and water, which I ate as soon as I got in my room since I was starving. The room was very cozy and clean, and it had a great view of the ocean from my window. After thawing out and feeling human again, I ventured out around the hotel. It's a great location, and there are numerous unique restaurants and things to see close by. The bed and pillows were extremely comfortable, and I love the fact that it had a decent sized refrigerator, microwave, lounge chair with ottoman, and a great desk where I could sprawl out and plan my weekend. Breakfast the next morning was delicious, and the hotel staff even offered me a late checkout. I've stayed at a number of holiday inn's in the past year, and this one is definitely near the top of my list. Thank you for all your hospitality, and I plan to return again soon!

My husband and I very much enjoyed our visit to Kitty Hawk and staying at the Holiday Inn Express. I have learned to trust HIE on our road trips as they are always convenient and clean! The one in Kitty Hawk was no exception -- it was conveniently located to the beach and there were several quality restaurants within walking distance which we always appreciate after spending all day driving. We would highly recomment this HIE!

Hotel has a nice location but I was there on business and they have no business center which forced me to do business on a smart phone. I would not recommend for a business traveler.

I stay here several times throughout the year while on business. The total experience is consistently great! The staff are amazing.....always friendly, and willing to help in any way they can. The rooms are comfortable and well maintained. This continues with the breakfast, offering many choices and friendly service, my choice while on the Outer Banks.

We visited the beach area during the off season and very much enjoyed our stay. Their knowledge of the area and recommendation of the excellent dining areas made our getaway weekend a memorable one. Tell the entire staff THANKS!
