Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Clean room; good experience Seems to be a pretty new place. Room was very clean and everything about the place was fresh and clean. My boys enjoyed the pool. When we checked in one of my boys got to spin the wheel that the desk personnel had set up. He "won" for me a certificate for additional Reward Club points. Nice gesture. Located just off the interstate, which made for convenience but also traffic. The traffic could not be heard from the motel but made it a bit difficult coming and going. Overall, great experience. We experienced a first in hotel travel when my daughter left her graduation gift ring behind. We called the hotel. They retrieved the ring and held it at the front desk until we were headed home a few days later. This was a first for us. Every other time we have left an expensive item in a room, it has mysteriously disappeared. Thank you to the wonderful, honest staff of this establishment! June 29, 2013

There is a cloud of smoke waiting for you, as you enter or exit the building. I will suggest putting the ashtrays further away from the entrance or empty out often. Beginning at the Front Desk, we were exceptionally well accommodated by the hotel staff. And because we were in a rush to get back on the road in the morning, the hotel staff insisted that we take breakfast with us. June 11, 2013

Campus was just 15 minutes away, and a lot of nice stores very close by for groceries and gift shopping. The breakfasts were a very nice surprise; all the bacon, sausage, eggs, pancakes, fresh fruit, yogurt, etc. you wanted, all included in the room price! Sandra was a joy and gave us some recommendations of places to visit. Other staff were equally helpful and extremely courteous. We exchanged towels daily with staff in the hallway, or at times they would even go right to the supply room and give us whatever we needed. It was service above and beyond what we would normally see in a hotel at this price point. The pool was perfect size for the kids. Would have liked a hot tub but the exercise room was a nice swap. The carpets were so clean I asked if they were new and was told they were four years old. They looked terrific. June 3, 2013

We have been staying at this hotel every time we would visit for the past four years. We are frequent travelers and are somewhat critical of hotels. This is the best hotel we have stayed at in Knoxville and surrounding areas. The staff is always helpful and happy we are there.The hotel is spotless! I always do a check of the room when we enter to make sure there is nothing wrong and I have never found a thing wrong. The breakfast is hot and good. The breakfast staff is always cleaning up and making sure everything is full. We will miss going to Knoxville to visit my son in college, and will miss this hotel too. May 17, 2013

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent!!!! Important things to me in a hotel are cleanliness and helpfullness of staff. I want you to know that this hotel is VERY CLEAN and the staff was great! Since we had the "Do Not Disturb" signs on our doors, they were very helpful in leaving notes on our doors to let us know who to go to if we needed anything during our stay. We really enjoyed the salt water pool as well. The rooms smelled so clean and fresh each time we walked in. There was a very good selection of breakfast items every morning. I would definately recommend this hotel and also stay here again. It's also very convenient to any kind of shopping and eating you want all down one street. May 10, 2013

Knox-Farragut had the entire out of town wedding guest list moved to their location and bent over backwards to make up for the confusion. I especially appreciate Amanda and Stacey who remained pleasant and appeared genuinely concerned about our experience. We all had a great time. Thank you very much. April 19, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Front desk staff - Lynne - exceptional service I made a mistake and booked this property for two nights and when I realized that I had not received a confirmation, I called about our reservation. Oddly, there was no reservation for that evening. However the front desk staff, Lynne, recognized the name on the reservation and told me that I had made a reservation for the PREVIOUS NIGHT - and since we didn't show up the reservation was cancelled out for both nights. She was able to get us into the hotel for the evening - this was a very busy post-holiday weekend - we had a very nice room and everything else about the hotel was fine. I have to say this was the most impressive front desk service I have ever gotten. She was very skilled in managing tons of people, ringing phones and mixed up reservations from tired travelers. She explained very nicely what had happened, provided me with the information I needed and was very kind/supportive about the mix up. What a great person to have on your staff - someone who's able to actually think and recommend a solution. Although I ended up paying for a room that was unoccupied...sad about that. It wasn't their fault. Thank you again for providing a great hotel, in a convenient location. We'll be back. April 12, 2013

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Clean, comfortable, good service We had a great stay at this location. The room & hotel property are kept very clean - a huge positive in my book. The service was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good, plenty of selections and kept fresh and warm. The only time they were running a bit low on the breakfast selections was when a huge group of people from the same high school baseball team all came in at once, so completely understandable. Our son was extremely happy with the indoor pool - and my husband and I were very happy that the pool & pool area were kept nice and warm so we could get in and have fun too. Overall a very good experience and we would most definitely stay here again! April 11, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent location and excellent hotel!!!!! My family wanted a spring break getaway without having to drive too far from our Indiana home. Roughly four and a half hours away we found the Holiday Inn Express Farragut to be the perfect location to explore many points around the Smokey Mountains without being stuck in the traffic typical of the traditional tourist areas. We had a great time and it was a pleasure to return to the hotel each night. The total environment including the room and common areas were very clean. The staff was great and helpful. The breakfast was fulfilling and typical of a Holiday Inn Express. It beats paying for a value meal at a fast food restaurant. The highlight was the automatic pancake maker! Who care about the waffle maker at most hotels when you can watch pancakes cooking on a conveyor. You have to experience it through your child's eyes to understand. My hope is that management allows the quality to remain high throughout the upcoming years. If so, I plan to visit again! April 10, 2013

Was very disappointed to discover during my last stay that you have reduced your TV channel line up. Just the basic channels and a lot of news and sports channels now. Very disappointing!
