Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Feels brand new! STAY HERE! Great stay (had two rooms) and both were outstanding! This location was next to another brand hotel that our other relatives were staying. Our location, Knoxville West Holiday Inn Express, was better in all respects. I checked out both during our stay. Stay here whenever possible. I will return next year in April 2016! July 23, 2015

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Need to work on Noise Control Overall this is a good hotel. It's clean and modern, and the staff is very polite. There is a lot of construction going on next door, which makes noise an issue. My initial room assignment was right next to the elevator and ice machine on the first floor. It was very close to the front desk, lobby, and breakfast area, across from the business center, and just down the hall from the pool and fitness center, so I felt there was too much traffic for there to be much opportunity for rest. I think the design could be better - maybe doors or something to separate the guest rooms from the public areas to make it quieter. The staff was very responsive when I brought the noise issue to their attention, and they moved me to the 4th floor - but they put me in a room in the same relative position, so I was still right next to the elevator, which is not conducive to restfullness when the thing is "dinging" all hours. The breakfast was good, it's nice to have hot food to choose, but the yogurt selections left a little to be desired - maybe I just hit it at a bad time and the yogurt had only artificially sweetened choices left, but some properties I have been to had both natural and artificial sweetened choices.
