Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Interrupted Sleep We chose this hotel because Carla, at the desk, was extremely welcoming on the phone. She was just as cordial upon arrival. Our room was adequate. We went out for dinner and came back to sleep because we were traveling and wanted to have breakfast and leave the next morning. At 1:38 AM the phone rang. It was the front desk telling us that the person in the next room had complained that the children were too noisy and were going to call the police. There were no children in our room and my husband and I were startled awake and couldn't get back to sleep. (You know how you feel with a phone call at that time of night.) We tossed and turned and decided to just get up and leave. When we went down to check out the General Manager, Sandi, was very apologetic. She comped our room. My husband explained, that as a former educator, he felt the staff needed trained on how to better handle the situation. He was not as concerned about the money. She suggested we enjoy breakfast before leaving as it was out early. As we did, she came over and comped us 2000 point on our loyalty rewards program. It was a bad experience that could have been handled better by the night staffer, Jake. Lori, who was in training, learned a lot that evening. January 7, 2015
