There were ants everywhere in my room. The hotel was full so I counldn't change rooms.

It was nice. You can walk to Texas Roadhouse and a couple other restaurants which is convenient and right off the highway. They upgraded me which ended up being across from the housekeeping room which had doors banging from 7 am on, could use a remodeling, but not so bad.

The staff other than the front desk needs work.
The employee who conducts the evening social gathering makes me want to stay in my room. I feel like I should not be aloud in the common area at this time.

Nice place. After a long drive through a snowstorm it was a very comfy bed. Nice to have a couple restaurants within walking distance too. Overall it was a very nice stay.

The staff sees to every need.
Location works well for my travel.
Happy hour is a bonus.
Breakfast is So, So but good for not made to order.
Fellow travelers seem to be good folks.
I like the location a service is the best.

We were there for 2 nights. The first night the room next to us had their tv on all night just loud enough for us to hear. The second night we had slept in and left the room approx 10 am. When we arrived back to our room around 7pm the room had not been cleaned at all. My husband went down to the desk to complain and at least get some clean towels. He came up and changed the sheets and gave us fresh towels.

We had plans to stay at this hotel on a Friday night as my husband was graduating on Saturday in Marion. We had a great stay. A huge snowstorm was coming in, and on Saturday we slid off the highway after graduation. We came straight back to this hotel and hoped to stay again. Terry was at the desk ( he was also there Friday when we checked in) he not only got us a room but upgraded us to a jacuzzi room because of our stressful day! Terry was a friendly face and much appreciated! Thanks for going above and beyond to make this stay memorable in more ways than just our fender bender!

This hotel by far should be the poster child for holiday inn properties. If they were all this good the business would be easy.

The staff was great and the room was clean but the tub looked old and the jets in the tub were not cleaned very well. The bathroom was old and it the bathroom showed its age. It could have been remodeled better. The bed was hard which I loved but husband did not. The a/c/heater unit didn't work properly. We were trying to cool off the room. It was set @ 64 cool and it wouldn't run but the room was hot. I finally opened the window 40 degrees outside and ran the heater @ 64 degrees to try and cool the room off. I know sounds stupid but it was the only way we could get the unit to work. Still didn't work. Room stayed hot all night. Location is good.

We arrived at 2:30 a.m. exhausted from a long day and were greeted by courteous staff and a clean, comfortable room. Great staff attitude continued at breakfast. Good value for the business traveler or a family

The hotel staff was great. I rode my motorcycle up from Florida to attend a military reunion. I asked the desk clerk if they had anything so that I may clean my bike since it was in need of a good wash. He was able to find everything I needed. The hotel is located very close to dining and shopping.

Was visiting the area for a military reunion. After traveling up from Florida on my motorcycle it needed to be washed badly. The desk Clerk very helpful with getting me everything that I needed to do the job. The hotel is in a great location for food and shopping.

WE STAYED IN RM 212, don't accept this room ever!!!!!!!!! they have some sort of machines that hum all night,you can't sleep,we were stuck the place was booked and so were other motels in the area. they took 10 dolllars off room rate big deal a nights sleep is worth much more.

The hotel is clean and safe if you are going to be in the Kokomo area and don't want to spend a fortune on a room. Our room was pretty clean and the bed was comfortable. The person at the desk during checkin was not very friendly and barely spoke to me when I arrived. He did at least add my rewards number to the reservation since it wasn't there yet. The heating/cooling unit in the room was extremely loud - so loud that we couldn't sleep with it on. We decided to get the room to a decent temperature and shut it off so we could sleep. The room was quiet - I didn't hear any noise from the rooms next door or from the hallway.
The breakfast was decent when I went down to get mine - scrambled eggs and sausage. And even though the hotel was sold out there were places to sit because they opened up one of the conference rooms. However, by the time my husband was ready for breakfast, they had switched to those awful "omelets" with cheese in them - not something someone on a low fat diet could eat.
All in all - this is a decent place to stay and we felt safe there.

Very comfortable room. Bathroom was well lit. Shower had great pressure. TV was fine but many channels were "frozen" images including FX and Comedy Channel. Remote control was marked sanitized and packaged in a plastic bag which was nice. Breakfast had decent variety.

WE LOVE STAYING AT THE KOKOMO HOLIDAY INN EXPRESS. THE STAFF IS VERY ACCOMMODATING, THEY KNOW OUR FAVORITE ROOM & MAKE EVERY EFFORT TO GIVE IT TO US.
HOWEVER THERE IS A MAJOR FLAW. THERE IS ONLY 1 LUGGAGE CART. THIS IS A LARGE MOTEL & 1 CART IS NOT SATISFACTORY. WE ARE OLD. I AM PARTIALLY HANDICAPPED & WE NEED A LUGGAGE CART. SOME GUESTS PARK THE CART IN THEIR ROOM TO ASSURE THEY HAVE IT. YOU NEED AT LEAST 3 CARTS. YOUR MARVELOUS EMPLOYEES , AT OUR REQUEST,HELPED US WITH OUR LUGGAGE AT CHECK OUT. YOU NEED MONITORS ON CARTS TO LOCATE THEM. THE LADY WHO RUNS THE BREAKFAST AREA DOES A MARVELOUS JOB. SOME OF YOUR OVERSTUFFED FURNITURE NEEDS REPLACING. THEY ARE BECOMING HARD TO GET UP FROM. WE HAVE BEEN REPEATED GUESTS AT THIS FACILITY

First and foremost I want to thank the manager for her help she was awesome, but the issues I had sadly were many. The house keepers didn't once flip our sheets or pillow cases, they didn't clean our sinks all I saw that they did was change towles. The front of house service was rude and unhelpful when I explained that there was an issue with my ac they said it was nothing and it was normal (I know it was not normal) when I asked for a soda to take for the road (during the free drink thing I was told I can't .

the location is great for me. the staff for the most part is ok, but there are a few that are just flat out rude. I've stayed at this hotel 5 nights a week for work for the last 3 months, and at least 5 more to go. but I've had a few incidents with a particular receptionist. she once called my room and accused me of smoking, saying that there was "witnesses" that saw me throw cigarette butts out the window, i told her it wasn't me and she then told me that its a $250 for smoking.. I DONT EVEN SMOKE.... Now this week i check in and its a different room.. (i request a specific room because of how the tv and internet are set up close together, and a king bed) but anyway i got into the room and the first thing i see is 3 big spiders. i don't like the things so i changed for work and got my stuff and went back to the lobby. i told the lady what had happened and she replied to me with a smart tone "haven't you ever seen a spider in your house before?, its just that time of year, its not a big deal"... now to me its a big deal... that rude to argue with a customer and tell them that.. and i don't see spiders in my home because my home is SPRAYED for them.. I'm really disappointed that a staff member had the nerve to talk to me like that.. i spend thousands of dollars here.. i don't appreciate the treatment at all.. other than that most everything else is ok/average.

We stayed 1 night Memorial Day weekend. I reserved my room online which was easy, cost was higher than I would normally pay, but I am 9 months pregnant and decided to do a mini vacation with my family before baby arrived. I wanted to stay in a hotel room with a Jacuzzi tub which is why we chose to stay in this hotel. Check in was very easy and organized, very impressed by this. Once getting to our room it smelled very strongly of bleach and chlorine, which I appreciated that it was very clean but was too strong for my sensitive nose. Luckily we left right away and didn't return until later that evening. When returning that evening the smell wasn't as strong as when we had arrived, I enjoyed my Jacuzzi tub, and settled in for the night. King size bed was very hard, sheets felt like paper, and air conditioner was set on the lowest setting possible and it still felt like it was 80 degrees in our room. Air conditioner fan turned on and off throughout night without reaching a comfortable temperature and my husband and I did not sleep well at all. Noise and slamming doors in the hallway for many hours throughout the night. Fan did not work in the bathroom and no Kleenex present in room. My husband and I had never stayed in a hotel we were so disappointed in. When checking out the receptionist was very nice, but I was not asked how my stay was. This will be the last time we stay in a Holiday Inn.

The room was clean and comfortable! The staff was few and far between but really didn't need much. I thought the property was well kept and the hot breakfast was nice. My only "complaint" if you will was that the pool was cold.
