I do miss the bottle of water for rewards members
I miss the extra newspaper (there used to be one from the day and one from the day before. It was nice for those of us who don't normally read hte paper)
And my garbage can was not empty when I arrived. It was a bit gross because someone's old razer was in there.
Some firmer pillows would be nice. Hard to tell the differnce between the soft and firm ones.
and of course, if only the window opened~!
Overall though, great service. Love staying there. Cassie is great.

Not a fan of the new 'microscopic' soap bar. Also, found the cap from a thumb drive under the sheets...no biggie though.

we were extremely pleased with our room and the staff. the beds were very comfortable, rooms very clean and staff was very nice. the hot breakfast was also good, nice selection and a nice breakfast room to enjoy it in. The location is right off the freeway too. I would highly recommend this hotel.

The air in the room was very stale and smelled bad...may have been partly the chemical smell from the pool across the hall from our room....very unpleasant.

You use some kind of odoriferous (giving off a smell) every time we entered the room, (not a good smell either) we didn't like it.
The pool was not inviting to use, it was very cloudy, as a matter of fact the 4 days we were there we didn't see anyone using it.
The food we not very good, we ate out after the first 2 days.
Sorry,but for the price it wasn't worth it.

After staying there twice last year, we looked forward to staying there is year. The motel was not up to standard. The lights around the interior all seemed dim giving it a dirty look and the room had a musty odor. The desk clerk was very nice and helpful to help us locate a place to dine. Overall disappointed in the hotel.

Stayed two nights and enjoyed the comfort of the inn and the friendly staff. The young man in charge in the evening was gracious and knowledgeable of the area. The whirlpool was refreshing.

Staff was very accommodating during the check-in process. The manager (Kristy) was very helpful with my request for my grandparents early check-in and for a room on the ground floor. No complaints.

I stayed at this property in 2009 and 2010 and it had issues. The property needed repairs. In my recent stay the property looked much better as a lot of repairs were made and new carpeting was being install. The new staff was great and housekeeping was doing a fantastic job.

Stopped there on a whim as we were traveling through. Helen was the desk clerk and incredible - very helpful, courteous and a joy to work with. Beds were incredible, hot shower with plenty of pressure :) There is a Wal Mart directly across the street and several nice restaurants nearby. Pretty much everything you'd want for an oasis. We bookmarked it in our GPS for the next time we're coming through.

We stopped in for a one night after a long drive and got just what we were hoping for - a quiet room with quiet climate control, nice bed, HD Flat screen, hot shower with plenty of water pressure, and a clean room with no issues. When we got up we had hot showers with plenty of water pressure and clean soft towels and headed down to a nice cup of coffee and a decent breakfast and back on the road. Yes, I know this is a BORING review - but that is all we ever ask from a "road" hotel - give me a nice, quiet, clean, boring night of rest without any drama - a cup of joe and a biscuit and I will be back to Holiday Inn! Thank you!

ON checking I deliberately stated that I was not going to stay if there were hockey, skating teams staying etc as we had been driving for 12 hours and were exhausted. On top of that we had encountered a time change northbound through Upton Tennessee and then Daylight savings time was kicking in with yet another loss of an hour (making two in total), Receptionist said, no problem. At 4 AM it started. One after another doors started banging and that was it for sleeping. Paid over $100 for four hours sleep!! In this day and age most hotels have dampers on the hotel doors to avoid this kind of incident. Not this one!!
At breakfast I inquired what was going on at 4 am and was told that there was a kids pageant of some kind taking place in the area which required them to be there at 6 am. Had I known this we would not have stayed there. Had we known that the doors were so noisy we definitely would not have stayed. I complained to the front desk who indicated that the manager would contact me to provide me with some kind of appeasement. I am still waiting for that call to happen. Needless to say we are not happy with Holiday Inn.

Outstanding experience. Keisha was very helpful and friendly on the phone and in person when we arrived. Room and bed extremely comfortable. Very nice selection of breakfast foods. Staff very attentive. I would highly recommend this property!

We arrived in La Grange to find that the hotel room we booked elsewhere was not available. That hotel called around and found us a room at the Holiday Inn Express. The staff at HIE were very friendly and helpful. We were told we were getting a room with a king bed and roll-away bed, but when we arrived were told they had found us two doubles instead. That was welcome news until we got inside the room. We think the room they put us in is used as a staff room or something because it looked like the sheets had been changed but not much else was done to clean it. The floors and bathroom were filthy. I have to hope that this was only because of the last minute booking (and it was very late at night.) Other than that, the bed was very comfortable, the breakfast was great (large selection, everything was hot and fresh), the hotel was pretty quiet, and the staff were helpful.

I have stayed here quite a few times as we have family in town and it is close to their house. Our kids enjoy the indoor pool and we are close to the restaurants of the area. The only complaint I have is this time we were only able to get 3 channels on the television, otherwise it was a very enjoyable stay. We will be back to stay here again soon.

This isn't a bad hotel, however if they are still in the process of working on the exterior either get a room away from the side they are working on or find a different hotel.
We were awaken EARLY (0700)in the morning (2 Days) by the workers outside our window banging, scraping, pounding and hollering Spanish back and forth. So much for relaxing and sleeping in a little.

Entire property was below standards for Holiday Inn Express. Upon entering the facility, had a strange oder. Upon check-in, was not asked about being a priority member. Hallway's were not tidy and not swept. Entering the room, same strange smell and floors in bathroom were sticky and carpets were not clean. My son and his entire cross country team stayed as well and all gave same feedback of their rooms. Breakfast was way below standards that other Holiday Inn Express have. Seeing the operators, one can tell why the skimping on all this exists. Corporate Holiday Inn employers need to visit this location and make changes. Would NEVER stay here again.
