Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Friendly helpful Staff We enjoyed our stay at this hotel very much - can't say enough about staff - very friendly and helpful. We will stay here again as we visit family and friends in the area and it was also convenient for our purposes. Perhaps a bit farther out from some of San Diego's biggest attractions but worth the extra 10-15 minute drive. Breakfast was great and more than expected. Con's: beds could be better and bathrooms could use updating (not just floor tile) but saw evidence that they were doing some renovations already. Older hotel and in some spots showing it's age. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Stay in La Mesa I visited La Mesa for holidays as my son lives there .The hotel staff is excellent which made all the difference. The breakfast, room cleanliness, check-in and check out, car parking etc was all excellent and flawless. We did have a problem with the door card malfunctioning twice but that was taken care of instantly. January 4, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by BEST EXPERIENCE EVER We were late in checking in , around midnight and the desk clerk just took only 5 minutes and handed us our keys and with a smile. There was a corner for coffee and bowl of fresh fruits and very hot water for teas. Our room was clean with 2 queen beds which made us slept so well after a tiring trip fr Florida, the mattress was firm !! Bathroom was very clean, no clogging of water when showering. Towels, I would ask if possible be looking newer?? Breakfast was excellent everyday, including staff and even the general manager, Gracelyn took the time to greet guests and asked if everything was alright!! Excellent overall!! We will be back!! Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by staff My son and I recently stayed ten days at your hotel. We received over-the-top service from all of the staff at the hotel, but especially at the registration desk. Alana helped my son and me with some computer challenges in the lobby...way above and beyond her duties. Both she and Demetrius are very friendly and made sure we knew when the home-baked cookies were ready every night! They are easy to talk to and very accommodating. I was impressed by the availability of fruit and coffee 24 hours a day and by the free laundry service. The housekeeping staff was very gracious toward us. It was the best hotel experience I've ever had in terms of staff. December 28, 2014
