Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent customer service Receptionists and breakfast attendants were very nice and helpful, I stayed at this location for 4 weeks and although the hotel needs some updates and Internet service is very slow I decided to stay because the room was very comfortable and the service was excellent, Paula and the other receptionist were always very welcoming. Breakfast is included and the 2 attendant were always on top of things making sure they didn't run out of food. I would definitely stay at this location again. March 7, 2013
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Wi fi Every night the wifi did not work. I was in the 4 th floor. The tech service hot line was useless. They kept me on the phone for 30 minutes each night and then the system still did not work. The staff is aware of then situation, but the management will not upgrade the system. If you plan to stay there, don't expect to use your I pad. February 16, 2013

My room was clean and comfortable. Ownly problem i had was getting on the internet with my pad . Would stay there again !!!! January 31, 2013
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Internet Problems For some reason the internet is horribly slow at this hotel. I spoke directly with the ISP, and the rep there was pretty much like "yeah we know it's slow, nothing we can do about it". I expect a bit of sluggishness during peak hours, but i couldn't even check my e-mail during slow hours. Netflix is out of the question. I realize the internet isn't everything with a hotel, but when i'm staying a week I need to check my e-mail! This is a connected world we live in and this hotel needs to get with the program. Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Never again! I would never come here again. I used Holiday INN in LA (Hawthorne Blvd, Hawthorne, CA 90250‎) and very happy. I assumed the stay would be exactly same in every Holiday INN but I was wrong. After a tiering day, we reached here to discover that we booked a "stupid" hotel. For the same price, I would have gotten much better hotel. Room was smelly (to the level that all of us (4) got headache due to bad smell in the room. The person checked us in has only one answer "I'm new here and I don't know anything. That's what you got and I cannot do anything". Bathroom looked like 1930's Slum. January 2, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Bes hotel staff in San Diego The front desk and housekeeping staff here are amazing. Everyone goes an extra mile to make sure you are comfortable & smiles all the time. I have never stayed at a hotel with friendlier staff.The hotel itself could use a remodel as it a little old and worn, but the staff definitely make up for this. The beds are very comfortable and everything is always extremely clean. Love that there are microwaves in the room & Free laundry for guests. The internet is a little slow, but it's complimentary so that's no problem. December 22, 2012
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great place to stay! This holiday inn express is a wonderful place to stay. The staff were exceptional at the front desk, especially the 3-11 staff. The room was cleaned very nicely each day-so the housekeeping staff were great. The breakfast person was also very good and kept the food hot and well supplied and the breakfast area was clean. I would highly recommend this hotel to everyone and will be staying there next time we visit San Diego. Thank you to everyone at the holiday inn express for a lovely stay! You are all wonderful! My travel budget was strained which limited my options as to where to stay, but I found this hotel to be a pleasant surprise.My room was clean and the staff was very nice to me. Paula is fantastic and had my selected room waiting for me. She did much to make my stay great. Thanks, too, to Christina and the rest of the staff who helped. I hoped to stay next time FOR FUN; and not for closeness to my outpatient surgery!!! October 22, 2012
