Great service, comfortable beds, staff very friendly and helpful. only problem was the pool very cold but was told they are working on it. I would stay here again.

Made reservation for 2 Queen beds a month in advance. Upon check-in my reservation was "upgraded" to a single bed King Suite. I complained I didn't request this and was told the hotel is sold out and would be difficult to change rooms. It was stated several times the sofa opens up to a bed. I didn't book a room for two beds counting the sofa as one of the beds! To "compensate" me for the changed reservation, I was given 10,000 reward points, when I was originally told I was going to get 20,000 points. I like the property and will continue to stay here. But I will state on future reservations more adults than schedule so (hopefully) I don't get "upgraded" again!

Check in was smooth and trouble free. Got to the room and everything was looking good until we slipped off our shoes and walked on the carpet on the side of the room where the air conditioner is located and our socks became soaking wet.
Im glad I was not plugging something in to the wall socket at the time. I called to the front desk and let the hotel clerk know what was going on and was told maintainance was not there. I asked for a different room but was told there were none available. I asked what we were supposed to do and was told that some towels could be brought to the room for us and asked how many I wanted. I informed the clerk I really didn't know for sure since I had just discovered the problem and was not sure if it had spread under the beds or not but I was tired from driving and was really not in the mood for dealing with a leaky air conditioner so I told him he should start with eight and go from there. When he knocked at the door with the towels and went to hand them to me. I opened the door wider and stepped out of the way and invited him to come in to deal with the issue.
Next evening when we returned to the room, the towels were gone, floor was still wet and no note or anything to let us know what was done to fix the problem. At this point we were just too tired to deal with it and knew we would be checking out in a few hours to go back to work so I didn't call for more towels. I didn't expect the air conditioner repair to happen that night but I did not feel the issue was addressed in the manner that you would use when dealing with a guest in your place. But that was my tuff luck I guess. Breakfast was good each day and check out was very smooth.

This Hotel checks all the boxes of what I have come to expect when staying at a Holiday Inn Express.

This hotel is a standard Holiday Inn Express. Everything was adequate. The price for the star level is a little high but there aren't many options in Lafayette, IN. It was a comfortable bed and standard Holiday Inn breakfast. Quiet rooms and kind staff.

The main reason we stay at Holiday Inn Express hotels is we know we can expect and this location was no different. Friendly staff, easy, carefree experience with all of the amenities and cleanliness we need during our stay.
