Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Nice Stay We were able to check into this hotel at the last minute on graduation weekend at Purdue. Although we were not there for graduation, we had to suffer through the high rates charged during this weekend. This is annoying, but we know it happens at all hotel chains. Supply and demand. On the plus side, this HIE was very clean, the lobby was very nice and the breakfast was well equipped in comparison to some other HIE properties we have stayed at. The location was also very convenient. We would recommend this property to others staying in the area. May 25, 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Best deal in Lafayette I needed a place to stay for a week while on business. I checked all of the hotels in the area and decided to stay at this Holiday Inn. It was a good decision - my stay was comfortable and met my needs. There was a housekeeping issue and the printer needs to be replaced in the business center but the my stay exceeded my expectations. The manager of housekeeping tracked down both parts of the charger for me, followed up with me by phone, and made it available for me to pick up on my way back. Awesome service! I also like that there is a little bit more healthy/natural food for breakfast than I remember seeing at places in the past. April 30, 2014

However I am a regular customer and identifed myself as someone who would be on my first stay. I have filled out the required paperwork on two occasions requesting a special rate as I would be staying in this facility two nights per month. I never heard anything back from them on either ocassion. I pay the same rate as a customer who simply pulled off the highway for a one night stay. I stay in a room with two queen beds with normal ammenities. I stay in another HI express in Indiana and pay a much lower price for a king suite and regular get upgraded to nicer rooms at not additional cost. I have never been offered an upgraded room or received anything as a platinum priority club (IHG Rewards) member at this facility. To say I feel dissappointed is an understatement. I feel like this facility does consider the IHG rewards program important and they do not consider a regular customer as important. April 22, 2014

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great staff in a quiet location Staff greeted me promptly and courteously. Staff were helpful. Despite being next to a busy highway, the room was quiet. Beds were good and firm. We always bring our own pillows so cannot comment there. Room was spacious for being the entry-level room. Refrigerator lacked a freezer section. This was important to me because I needed to re-freeze ice packs used for my recent knee surgery. Unable to do so. Breakfast was mediocre. Sausage gravy was good and hot, but was lacking in sausage. Eggs were good and hot but were under-cooked and watery. Pool was closed. This should have been noted on the ICH website or during Priority Club reservation process. If I had known this, would have gone to a different location. April 14, 2014

I did not try the pancakes, but I looked at the clever pancake cooker/dispenser that provided fresh pancakes. I was also happy to see fresh fruit available. The beds were comfortable and the free wifi worked very well for all our devices. March 27, 2014

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Too Noisy The hotel rooms are nice and roomy and they come with a small fridge and microwave. The bathroom has a tub and nice tile. The breakfast is better than Hilton Hotels and the eggs actually seem like real eggs!!! However, the bad. There was not enough floor supports when they built this hotel. It seemed like the ceiling was gonna fall through everytime someone took a footstep in the rooms above me. I had to put in ear plugs to fall asleep a couple on nights from all the banging around. The bottom line is the Hotel Structure is not solid. I felt like king kong was walking above me every night. March 21, 2014

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Nice Hotel, Poor Service We stopped here on our way back from Disneyworld. We could have driven the remainder of our trip but decided to stop and enjoy the warmer weather one more night with our 16 month old daughter. All was well until a group of pre-teen girls started running around loudly in the hallway. Not only were they loud in the hall but they then began prank knocking all the doors on the first and second floors. This happened multiple times and when the front desk was made aware of the problem they seemed to just blow it off. It happened again after the front desk had been called and personally visited. Very nice hotel but they need to train there staff to handle such issues. They could have also offered some sort of voucher or points for the issue. I know for a fact that I am not the only person making this complaint about the hotel so I hope they are getting the message. March 19, 2014
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Poor Reception Service I am IHG Platinum elite member but there was no priority check in and it took more than 10 minutes to check in. I also requested room upgrade when I made reservation but my room was not upgraded at first though there are some executive rooms available. After I strongly claimed, they reluctantly made room upgrade for me. I regret such poor service. March 17, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Clean and comfortable Clean, comfortable, and large room. Tall ceilings on the first floor make your room seem even larger. Everything worked. Could use a couple more TV channels, but other than that it was very nice. Furnishings were new, or seemed that way. Bathroom was clean, well stocked, and also looked new. Staff was very friendly both at check in and check out. Would recommend this hotel to anyone. March 4, 2014
