She really made our check in and out a lot of fun.

I visit in town frequently for work and have visited a few other hotels as well. The MLK location offers a comfortable stay and friendly staff. I can't say enough about either as it's nice to feel welcome when you're away from home! Thank you!

Nice location. Greated upon entering but not as platinum member. Nice room - clean. Internet worked fine. Quiet. Given places to eat which were 3 - 4 miles away ..... all good. Missed breakfast as had to check out early next morning.

eggs, bacon, sausage gone by 8:50am..had to stand in line for coffee while food employee was getting hers. had to stop down the road for breakfast.

This was a one night stay on our way to New Orleans.
Front counter staff very nice and courteous and met our needs.
Rooms were spacious and clean and furnished very nicely.
Washroom good size and clean with all amenities and good shower pressure.
Breakfast was the usual fare but seemed fresher and better than others and replenished well. Just a note coffee was very good!
We would definitely stay here again!

We arrived at this property and were impressed by the outside areas.
The security lighting at this property is the best I have ever seen and is bright as daylight all around the property!
The access and egress are difficult as there are divided and one way streets in this area so pay attention and choose wisely when coming or leaving.
We were somewhat greeted by the counter staff (female, no name remembered but blond haired) who was very abrupt and less than happy.
We asked her if any upgrades to King Suites were available as we were taking two rooms for two days and were told "NO".
As the parking area was nearly empty I later checked availability for upgrade rooms and found I could book 4 online if I wanted to! (I did not check to see if there were more than 4 but I am sure there were)
Took our information gave us our rooms and turned and left the desk!
Rooms are very nice and are large, quiet and comfortable.
Comfortable beds and good lighting.
Washrooms are a good size. Showers have good pressure but the tubs are round bottomed and very slippery and hard to shower in but doable. They have had an insert put in to update the tub and are narrow.
There are no towels at the hot tub/pool and must be handed out at the front desk which is an issue. To further make this matter worse the wonderful desk clerk advised "only one towel per guest" and when we asked for more said ""NO" we only give out one and they are as big as the towels in your room they should do." I don't need anyone telling me how many towels I need or can have! We could not get any more from her so we went to our rooms took our towels and went to the pool/hot tub.
The pool is cold as it is not heated but the hot tub and area were great in size, appearance and heat!
The breakfast was average for IHG and we have had better and worse but no issue.
We advised the front desk staff upon checkout (Very nice and happy and seemed very interested in our issues) and were advised that they would advise management about our issues and we would be compensated in some way (None to date) and I asked for them to contact me if they required further information as this property would be 5 stars except for the staff & towel issues.
