The staff knew the reason for my visit and bent over backwards to make my evenings comfortable and relaxing. They put me in a great room away from the crowd and made sure I had everything I needed. They even loaned me a bottle opener for an evening cocktail. This location is also located across the street from a great Mexican restaurant that makes sure guests of the hotel are well taken care of and will pack a great carry out meal. Room has a refrigerator and microwave for those evening when you want to eat in your room. All the comforts of home. January 29, 2016

From the front desk to the woman who cleaned our room, everyone was eager to make our stay comfortable. I will recommend this hotel to my friends who will be visiting the Lakeway area soon. This facility is clean, comfortable, and fairly priced. It offers the amenities of much more expensive hotels. I will continue to book rooms at Holiday Inn Express/Lakeway in the future December 29, 2015

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Saturday night stay Overall great stay. Room was pricey, about $40-50 more than I was hoping to pay. When I got to breakfast, the previous guests had cleaned out all the bacon and sausage, so had to alert the desk staff - who jumped right on it - to add more in. Coffee and orange juice had been watered down to the point of being undrinkable. I recommend that staff make two kinds of coffee: one marked strong, one marked regular. Mid westerners, who drink it all day and drink it black, prefer weak coffee. Southern types prefer it Louisiana style - rich and very strong with cream or half and half and sugared. What they had was weak Midwestern coffee. It was like they used half the coffee recommended and twice the water. Same with the juice; except there the ratio seemed to be four times the water recommended. Front desk staff was very friendly, and helpful, December 17, 2015
