The room was clean and well appointed, and the bed was comfortable. Also, the heater was much quieter than the average hotel room heater. Put that all together & I slept quite well.
The hardwired internet speed has improved dramatically since my previous stay (sorry, I did not try the WiFi). To me, this is a very important item in selecting a hotel.
On my next visit to Lamar, I will stay at the Holiday Inn, again.

I have always had great service from the Holiday Inns that I have stayed in throughout the US. I must say I was disappointed to find the coffee at breakfast was only lukewarm at best. The breakfast items were not the fresh and appetizing quality I am used to at the other Holiday Inns.
I was even more disappointed in the fact that friends that I recommended this hotel too and who stayed the same night, realized they had left a very expensive camera and when they called the hotel (before any new guest could have checked in) they were told that no camera had been found in their room. REALLY???? I am sorry I recommended it to them.

This property is what Holiday Inn Express is supposed to be. Extremely friendly and caring staff. Very nice, well kept property. Defiantly the best place to stay in Lamar.

When I arrived my initial impression with the staff was poor. I waited at the front desk for about 8 minutes before anyone arrived to help me. The young man who did finally arrive checked me in and told me where my room was. I would have liked to know where the elevators were, when breakfast was, and where the business center was as I was there for work. When I walked into my room, it was clean, the toilet was running which was a bit concerning but I toggled the handle and that fixed it, and there weren't any bars of soap. Nonetheless, I was able to find all the information I needed from the "hotel manual" in the room and I was able to work comfortably.
When I woke I found my bill under the door, that is when I realized I had made a mistake when I booked my stay, I needed another night. I quickly went to the front desk where there was a sign on the counter that advised me to use the phone to receive immediate assistance, which I did. To my surprise, a woman immediately came to the desk. She was kind, friendly, and extremely helpful. I told her about my error and she swiftly changed my reservation with a smile on her face. That is what sold me on this location. I saw her again the next morning and to my surprise she remembered me, it made my day!

I enjoyed my stay here and the staff was very nice especially Sean at the front desk he was very helpful and i woke up around 2am and was craving coffee and Sean made me coffee.Great hotel and staff and i will definately stay there again.

The staff was courteous and polite. The hotel was clean and well-kept. I was there most of a work week, and was able to sleep comfortably and awoke well rested. The air conditioner was quiet. That is worth the money, alone.

When there two other guests were turned away as their online reservations were no good. I reserved a handicapped room but was given the last remaining room that was not handicapped equipped. You guys need to communicate with the online site and let them know your inventory or stop using them all together.

I was very happy with the room which was spacious and well furnidhed--greaf bed! The staff was super friendly and helpful as well. It is hard to imagine a nicer place to stay in Lamar.
