Property is well maintained and room was very comfortable. Furnishings were up to date and bed was very comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful throughout my stay.

Room (suite) itself was just fine and very clean, but the noise above us was constant and maddening. Multiple calls to the front desk were met with little care and no resolution.

I stay at this hotel every week, and my room is always clean and quiet. Just what I need at the end of a busy day. I enjoy getting the morning paper and coffee in the morning.

I was impressed by the sparkling clean and modern facilities at the Holiday Inn Lamar. The staff were super helpful, and I felt pampered and rested when I left. From the cookies in the lobby to the tidy pool area, the staff at this hotel are great!

This is the best place to stay in Lamar. Comfortable rooms, great service and nice facilitites. The only problem was the wifi. It was for free, but poor quality.

The hotel is overpriced and the most expensive in town which in some cases could be worth the extra if the amenities were acceptable. The internet, however was essentially nonexistent and I could not do any internet business because nothing would load. After contacting the front desk, I learned that they were aware of the problem and it was an ongoing problem, but that management had not contacted anyone or made an attempt to fix their problem. That along with the seeming uncaring staff responses made the hotel completely overpriced for the value.
