Negatives were too much noise, not enough room at the breakfast buffet area, sloppy paint job, hallway looked bad because of renovations. September 1, 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by perfect location This was my third stay here but this time it was a mini family reunion. You can't beat the location. The hotel is minutes from Sights and Sounds, across the street from the AMT and not far from other area attractions and restaurants. When we had free time some enjoyed shopping in the outlets, some swimming in the heated pool, etc. The breakfast was excellent and a nice place to gather each morning. Coffee, hot water and delicous cookies were available all day. The hotel was booked solid when I was there! I stay almost exclusively at Holiday Inn Express and have always enjoyed the beds and pillows, but my brother pointed out that the pillows were labled as to hard and soft. :) I look forward to going back again and for the gym to to updated and expanded for my next trip. Hotel was very crowded during my stay, staff appeared to be trying, but was not prepared for number of guests. Otherwise good location for the area, breakfast quality was good, room was inline with many other hotels in the area. August 30, 2014

I understand it was booked up but I did ask to get a roll a way bed and never got a response back from the front desk if there was one or wasn't one available. The room smelled musty and of moth balls. Air conditioning wasn't cold and didn't run all night long even though we put the fan on. Beds were hard. You can tell this hotel has been around for a while by the outdated decor. August 28, 2014

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Hotel Service Front Desk workers need to concentrate on their guests and not worry about what their co-workers are doing. They can talk once the guests are checked in and away from the counter. Air conditioning in the rooms need cleaned. Very musty smell comes out of them when running. August 28, 2014

The staff was very helpful and friendly but the facility is out dated and ran down. The room had a smell and while running the AC a strong odor came from the system so we decided to be hot than smell it August 24, 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great beds and so convenient to shopping. We came to school shop for my daughter and didn't want to drive all over. This was a perfect spot. Walked to everything. The breakfast was good. The beds were very comfortable. If I had to pick anything wrong it was that the advertisement said heated pool but the water was so cold we didn't get in. But we weren't there for the pool. And the price was a little higher than I thought it be but we wanted to check it out because we already made plans and will be staying here at the end of November with some family. August 20, 2014

The room was quite nice, although we were unable to keep the room cool enough (outside temp in the lower 80s). Pillows and beds were quite comfortable, and the room was very clean. The pool had some leaves and bugs floating on the surface, but in the hotel's defense it was fairly windy outside. Overall, I would recommend staying here if you want to be close to the outlets and Dutch Wonderland. August 20, 2014

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Hotel is okay - hotel rooms did have an odor This hotel is in a convenient location. It's fairly new, but our first room had a terrible odor - a musty smell. The front desk did relocate us, but the 2nd room wasn't much better. The odor seemed to be coming from the air conditioner unit. We also made our reservation on the phone with this location's front desk and they did make major errors. They booked us for the wrong month and never sent us a confirmation email. After a bill in the mail and some discussions with management, they corrected that. They also booked us for two rooms when we only asked for one. Double check all reservations you make at this hotel. My friend and I go every year to shop (we are QVC addicts) at the outlet stores, go to the Sights & Sounds Theater and just generally enjoy the area . Holiday inn Staff are wonderful, friendly and helpful. On this trip, had a delightful experience sleeping on the new pillows. Wanted to buy them but was told they are not available to purchase yet. Disappointed as I have neck problems and these new pillows really helped. The breakfast is also great. WE are very pleased with this hotel and would recommend to anyone. August 5, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by It's home to us. We stay here most every time we go to Lancaster, which is about 12 times a year. We chose this place originally because they have Corporate Lodging. It might be beyond our budget otherwise but I sure would miss it if I had to go elsewhere because: 1. It sits right among the outlets. 2. The staff is all friendly and helpful and they always try to get us into the area we want. 3. The beds are particularly comfortable, especially love the pillows and the comfy throw for I'm often chilly. 4. The breakfast even has pancakes and oatmeal with cranberries and walnuts. 5. Every bathroom room has 2 good grab bars. For me, that's a big deal. 6, Every part of the room & building is clean. Only negative is that they accommodate many buses so the dining room is often packed. It's good if you can come in on either side of them. August 3, 2014

I was NEVER acknowledged as a PC member. This was my second stay at this Holiday Inn in July.. I will be back next season again and plan to try another facility August 2, 2014
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by No Internet and Slight Musty Odor, Otherwise OK Location was very convenient for Rockvale Square Outlets, and that is the reason for the relatively high price. Room was OK, but not as nice as what we typically find at other chains that are in the same price range as the Holiday Inn Express chain. Room appeared to be clean, but had a slight musty odor. The pillows were very comfortable. The biggest problem was that the hotel's Internet was not working at all during our stay. The story was that it had been knocked out by a storm on Wednesday, and could not be repaired until the following Monday. This is unacceptable in this day and age. We needed Internet access for things we needed to do with our laptop and tablet during our stay. To get Internet access, we bought a no-contract mobile wireless hot spot and a month of service. (We were planning to eventually get one anyway.) It was OK, but I don't plan to stay at this hotel again. July 31, 2014
