Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great caring staff and nice rooms Every time I stay there I am once again surprised by what a Holiday Inn Express can be. This is one of the finest places I have stayed at and I am in a motel over 200 nights a year. The entire staff is helpful and friendly. The property is always clean and looks like it was just built last week, everything shines like new. The room was nice and the bed was comfortable. There was adequate toiletries and plenty of soft towels to use. There are plenty of channels on the TV to make adequate noise while working on my laptop with the free Wi-Fi. Overall, if you are in the area, make the effort to get there, its worth the drive. (I drove almost an hour from my work site just to stay there). November 14, 2014
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Wost Breakfast Bar I have visited this location before with no complaints; however, my recent stay of Nov. 3, 2014 was different. Upon entering the breakfast bar area at 6:30 a.m., I found the area still in the dark. I went to the hot breakfast area only to find a single sausage patty and three omelets which appeared to be left over from the day before. I decided to pass on the hot meal portion choosing a glass of orange juice, only to find the dispenser was not activated. I decided that I would get a cinnamon roll, milk, and coffee. The cinnamon roll was also stale (another left over?), coffee cold as ice. The attendant did not appear to be too concerned about the lack of hot coffee or other meal offerings. Plus, my wife doesn't always treat me like this!! : - ) Thanks for softening travel on the road! Oh, I forgot to mention I'm a Certified 3rd Party Quality Systems auditor, so I am pretty picky about Customer Service. Lapeer HI knocked it out of the park. November 4, 2014

When we entered to check availability we were warmly greeted and assured there was room at the inn...along with a wedding celebration. Thus we were given a room far from the wedding guests. We found the room clean, bed linens and pillows, along with the bathroom all ready for guests. I truly enjoy the choice of firm October 24, 2014
