Holiday Inn Express and Suites Las Cruces North is a great place to stay. The location is in an area that is recently developed and feels fresh. Service is great with little wait time. The furniture is nicely arranged with plenty of space to move about and a comfortable bed. The bathroom is clean and shiny.
The breakfast selection is nice but no waffles.

The young gentleman at the front desk was so polite and checked us in very quickly. The hotel overall was very quiet and the room was great. used the fitness center the next morning and was the only one there.

We had a king size bed that was very comfortable, I did not feel the other person moving around at night. The pillows were soft and firm, great choices to choose from.

It is difficult traveling cross-country booking hotels by phone. We were traveling with dogs and had several bad experiences with either poor quality or high prices for dog friendly hotels. Finding this lovely hotel was a joy! In addition, the girl at the front desk was absolutely wonderful changing us to a ground floor room and then helping us with dining options in the area.

I really like this hotel but I had a bad experience this time, somebody open my door at 3:11am. I was scared to death. I was by myself. I did not feel safe anymore and I could not go back to sleep. The next morning I mentioned the problem to the person in the front desk and she just said that it was her fault that she gave my room to somebody else. She said she was sorry but she should have called me to apologize instead of me bringing it up. Then I went back to my room and I could not get back in. My key card did not work anymore (I guess she disabled my card when she gave my room to somebody else). I went back to tell her I could not get back into my room and no apologies. She just asked me how many more nights I will be staying. You really need to train your personal better.
At this point I lost my sense of security so I do not know if I will come back.
