Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Not the Best for HIE When i check in i ask for room,right away she asks me if i made a reservation and if i didn't can't help me.So i make it clear that I'm an ihg member and i usually frequent HIE.Now she wants to help me but tells me there are no rooms and waiting on availability of rooms,this was 4:00pm in the day,maybe 3 cars in parking lot.Keeps looking at her computer like I'm not standing there,all of a sudden "would you mind a handicapped room",so i ask "should i mind".Then gives me suite on ground floor.Went from we have nothing to welcome to are hotel.Iv'e stayed at HIE many times and she sees this but continues on telling me everything little thing about hotel before giving me my card(very strange) middle age woman dirty blond hair,finally had to say "may i go to my room",i grab card and she continues on talking as i walk away.Nice suite good tv channels,nice pool and spa.Happy with room so call to extend my stay,guy at front desk says he will check and call back (no call back).Little groups of guys all over hotel,pool area,parking lot,lobby maybe road workers.Breakfast at 7:00am(no meat just eggs no gravy) and crowded full of same workers laughing talking loud like there the only ones there.Go to front desk in morning(TO EXTEND MY STAY) young man at front very unkept scraggly beard,skin disease of some sort,bloodshot red eyes tells me to talk to manager to extend my stay,after all this i don't think i want to now.By the way ppl checked in all night without reservations and checked right in,just wanted to see what woman was talking about no rooms.I have wrote 6 reviews about HIE hotels and 5 are very unsatisfactory,don't know whats going on but not sure i want to give them my business anymore.
