Appreciated the courtesy of the front desk staff at this location. We arrived during a snow storm and there were many in line and desperate for a place to stay. The staff was calm and was helping everyone.
Rooms were clean.
We got two connecting rooms as we traveled with our small children. Felt a tad bit pricey for all of that since we had found suites at other chains with two bedrooms that cost us 35% less in total - but otherwise happy with the hotel.
The breakfast was a little crazy - lots of people at once, and what seemed like very little food. The whole "express" concept is lost on me. Only 6 biscuits put out at once, everything was small and compact and sort-of "to go" - not a lot of fresh stuff in the breakfast. A pancake producing machine that was out of the pancakes when we arrived at 7:30 a.m. I'm comparing to Staybridge in Albequerque which had homemade salsa on the breakfast bar for one.
The woman managing the breakfast area was working super hard to keep it stocked and was very kind - it just was a small space to work with and made her job hard.

The hotel looks nice but the beds are awful and the heating was terrible. We woke up with sore backs. The beds were worn out. The heating was not adjustable. It was either on and very hot or off and very cold.

The hotel is new and nicely furnished. However, the feature that distinguishes it from the others is the quality of the staff. The standard of service and responsiveness set by Natasha, the young lady at the front desk, and the lady who provides the breakfast service, are exemplary and rarely met by any staff at so-called 5 Star hotels.

not up to standards that I have experienced in other properties.The room was not very clean and amenities expected in a HIE property were not there.

We came to the hotel with no reservation since we had had to change travel plans due to a storm. When we arrived the desk clerk went out of his way to see if there was a room and found us the last available room. I was impressed by his friendliness and go getting attitude in particular when the machine said there were no rooms he went upstairs to check on a room he thought had just come available and made it happen. It was appreciated since it was 9:30pm at night and in the teens outside.
