Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Wonderful Place The staff and accommodations were just what was needed at the end of a long day of driving. A new, clean, friendly and comfortable property directly off I-25. The only thing still annoying (and this is for all HI properties) is the bathroom lighting. You'd think they could improve on the 1950's lighting after all this time. But would highly recommend this hotel and will definitely stay here again. April 20, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Fantastic Property We thought this property was brand new, the look, the smell, the overall appeal. We were very surprised when we heard they had just had their 6th anniversary. A very well kept hotel. Very pleasant staff along with a very friendly manager. Very easy to get off and on I-25. Will be back for sure. Kudos, Las Vegas HIX!!!!!! April 16, 2013

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great Room Staff So so I had traveled and it was a bit later when I arrived, did not have a reservation and would not give me the government rate. I will be traveling through the area more but will not stay here as I have to have the government rate or have to pay the bill myself. March 25, 2013

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Poor Breakfast and Heating/Cooling We stayed at this property for 2 weeks twice a year since it opened and were excited about the option of a new hotel in the area. However the hotel has declined substancially in the past few years. The breakfast food options were empty at 7am daily. They were always in the kitchen making more. I can see a rush one morning that would cause this, but it was the same patrons each of the 4 mornings. The staff would bring out small amounts that were descended upon by the waiting patrons. The huge orange juice machine was empty 2 mornings by 7am. The bacon is as thin as a sheet of paper and the majority of the sausage was burned in the microwave. The eggs are similar to MRE eggs and barely edible - IF you douse them with hot sauce. The bisquits and gravy are ok. The heating and cooling were insufficient. Both in my party turned on their A/C to the lowest setting to offset the heat in the rooms that must have been central heat. The rooms were stifling and you simply could not cool them down - and this was the first week of Feb - 22 degrees outside. The A/C units do not run with the fan option as "ON", but cycle every 15 minutes causing a loud bump - not conducive to sleep. The room key quit working after the first night. This happens almost EVERY time at this location. This is indicative of the clerk punching in the wrong number of nights. I specifically mention that we will be staying "X" number of nights each time we check in. I love it when they blame it on cell phones, magnetic cards, etc when it is solely their fault. My keys were in separate locations. One had not even been removed from the envelope. In summary, there are not many options in Las Vegas, NM. The only reason we stay here is because it is an IHG property - and no other reason. February 11, 2013
