Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by In from the cold I was stranded at work by one of our recent Bay State blizzards and booked a room at the last minute. Staff were very friendly and welcoming, even offering to dig out my car the next morning if necessary -- it wasn't because they worked into the night to keep the lot clear of snow. Room was clean and well appointed. Complimentary wifi and breakfast were bonuses. February 13, 2015
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 Not up to standard First time I was disappointed by a Holiday Inn Express. Breakfast was mediocre, and the building looks old and tired with a renovation that is cosmetic in nature. Not a horrible experience, but not what you may have been accustom to elsewhere. Given that breakfast is the HIE signature feature, they could have at least tried. They were out of many items, and the pancake machine was always broken. I skipped breakfast the last day as a result. They seem to have a deal with a large tour operator, so be prepared to climb over tourists at breakfast, and when trying to leave the building. I only stayed here because it was very convenient to a business appointment and I am loyal to HIE, but I would reconsider my choice next time. February 11, 2015

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Where's the chair? The king room is not as pictured on the web site. There is an empty space where the chair and ottoman should be as in the room pictures on IHG's site. The desk clerk was very friendly and sympathetic to my concerns. She said that the hotel does not have chairs for the rooms. I am here on business and planned on staying for two days. I would have spent a good deal of the second day in the room working and relaxing. My seating options are limited to a desk chair and the bed. I stay in hotels over 200 nights per year and I believe that this is the only IHG location that I have stayed at with no chair in the room. I am cancelling the second night and going to a different hotel. If your stay will be similar to mine and you planned on using the room for rest and relaxation please know that the room is not as advertised. So don't plan on kicking back in a big comfy chair like it shows in the pictures. February 5, 2015
