Generally love Holiday Inn Express, but not this hotel. The AC did not work properly and when we complained they sent a service person to our room. He proceeded to lower the temperature button and play with the fan button (obviously something we had already tried). We ended up sleeping on top of our sheets covered only in sweat.
The main light fixture kept going out and this was never remedied by their staff.
The breakfast was poor. No fruit, rubbery, bad tasting sausage and eggs.
Two other families we were traveling with actually checked out and went to another hotel.

My wife made the reservation and felt pressured into agreeing to an "entertainment package" that she was told wouldn't increase the cost. The additional price raised the bill by almost $100 (for one night). We called the hotel and were told that a manager would return our call. It has been over a week an no one has called us back about this. Even if they didn't plan to address the issue, not returning a call for a customer with a complaint shows poor professionalism. As a result we likely won't be returning to Holiday Inn.
