Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Uncomfortable room chair This hotel used to have a comfortable wing-back chair with ottoman in each room. They replaced it with an uncomfortable, non-reclining new chair which makes the bed the only place to relax and read. There's a lack of closet/hanger space if you are staying for a week or two. The breakfast food is mediocre in comparison to other hotel chains but there are restaurant alternatives nearby. October 24, 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great room, toilet needs some work Service was very friendly and made me feel at home. Room 437 was in a quiet location and out of the way on the top floor. However, the toilet was noisy and needs some work. Maybe a new flapper? I had ear plugs to sleep anyway, so it wasn't a problem for sleeping. However, for just relaxing, the tank kept making noise to refill about every 6 minutes. I forgot to mention this upon checkout, so probably still running. October 15, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Room quality and Desk service From the time we entered the hotel we were greeted and treated very kindly. We were a group of 4 women with one being 89. They apologized that they did not have a ground floor room available for the sake of our mother, who walks with a walker. We enjoyed the comfortable rooms for sleeping and lounging purposes. The pillows were ok, but these old heads get a little pickier about how soft or hard they are. A couple of things which would have been nice in the room, but which I notice other Holiday Inns also do not have in their rooms is a fridge or little microwave. Older individuals usually have left-overs, because of big eyes and little stomachs. It would have been nice to have been able to take them back to our room. But overall we love your hotels. We have stayed at this particular one for the last 3 years for our get-a-way. October 14, 2014
