Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Holiday Inn Express - Le Claire Riverfront - Comfort I love this property and it's staff (over a 5 year period). So much so that I have asked my company to contact them to make it a "preferred" property when we are making business trip arrangements. The greeting has always been kind, the check in process pretty painless. Check out handled with express checkout under the door. The rooms are clean, the water hot and pressure great! The balcony and view of the river is so enjoyable. Gas, restaurants, and groceries are very close. Visit Antique Archeology (American Pickers showroom) located on the same road while you're there! Sneaky Pete's in town offers a fun, laid back visit and very good food. HINT: Wear an old throw-away tie... Right off I-80, close to Bettendorf, IA and Moline, IL. I recommend the Le Claire Holiday Inn Express to all my friends, relatives and co-workers when I hear they are headed in that direction. February 8, 2016

I want to thank the staff for a phone call a day or so before check in to let me know that the pool would be under construction and not available. This is the first time I have ever had that happen and it is much appreciated! As a family in the past we have booked at hotels only to get there with three children and no pool available. I was fine not using it this time since I was alone and there for work. I was also ungraded to a riverside view which was nice and relaxing. Breakfast was very good! Only con is the price is always on the high side at this IHG. February 7, 2016

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by 3rd stay Third time staying at this property. I was really pleased the first two times but always stayed on the river side. This stay I was given a room on the back side of the hotel. DONT STAY HERE UNLESS YOU LIKE THE SOUNDS OF TRAINS BLASTING THEIR AIRHORNS OUTSIDE YOUR WINDOW. I wish the front desk person had told me I would have paid for a upgrade. At least 4 times I was awoke by the sound of a train going by. The tracks are on the back side of the parking lot. Breakfast was typical HIX I hate the fake omlets. I'll stay here again but only if I can get a riverside room. To be fair I did not complain to front desk at checkout so I did not give them an opportunity to make it right. January 3, 2016
