Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great choice, just a bit far from town I travel a lot to put it mildly. On average I spend over 250 nights a year in hotels of all brands. I typically split my stays up among IHG and 2 other major competitors. Lately I have been staying more at IHG properties mostly because of what a solid choice the Holiday Inn brand has become. I have stayed at them all over the US and Europe both. About my only complaint has typically been the lack of feather pillows. The HIE in Lebanon continues with all the good things I like about HIE as well as yucky pillows. A good pillow is key for me to sleep well. Other than that I had a great stay and I'll likely be back. I ended up there because most hotels were booked that week in Nashville and ended up staying outside town a bit,. Ok, maybe more than a bit but it wasn't too bad of a drive. It was all made better as the check-in staff were the friendliest of any of the IHG brands I've tried in Nashville. The common areas were very clean and so was my room. Typical HIE breakfast and I do wish they would expand a bit in this area but the food was good. Unless something radically changes at this hotel I would recommend it as a solid choice if you don't mind being a bit out of town. There are a LOT of good food choices in the area. October 26, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Clean room, great service, too expensive The room was clean and comfortable. Staff was friendly & polite. Breakfast area staff was also polite and professional. Food selection was just so-so. No grits, sausage barely warm and greasy, no gluten-free bakery items that I have had at other Holiday Inn Express Breakfasts. The cost of the room was high compared to other Holiday Inn Expresses where I have recently stayed. October 26, 2014
