Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great Front Desk and Great Staff Check in was smooth and fast. When I went to room, it reeked of cigarette smoke. Had to go back down to front desk to change rooms which was a big hassle. Front desk staff (heavy set gentleman who I did not get his name) was a huge help and had me in another room in a matter of minutes. Also recommended great restaurant. he is a great employee and should be recognized by Holiday Inn. Also, the breakfast staff were very helpful and were constantly cleaning and asking if we needed anything. Very nice women who should be commended as well. Disappointed with the disgusting smell of the first room, but your staff saved my stay and any negative comments I would have had if they did not come to the rescue. Great staff, plain and simple. Your warm welcome, clean comfortable room, and attentive staff is a wonderful change from many places we have logged. The ladies in the Breakfast great room are VERY attentive and do an excellent job of caring for the appearance, quality, and abundance of the food presented. Often in other hotels, one has to get to the dining room very early to ensure there is a breakfast food. At no time, ever, have we experienced this at the Holiday Inn Express in Lebanon. We look forward to staying at this fine, welcoming hotel again! Thank you for your care and attention to our pleasurable stay at the Holiday Inn Express Lebanon, Pennsylvania. June 10, 2015

Upon arrival we tried several rooms as one had black mold in the corner behind the wall paper, one had cigarette burnt marks and nail polish stain on carper, and all rooms had dust on anything 5 feet high and above. The room we finally gave up on had a smell and we were given a bottle of free breeze so we could fix the problem our selves. The rooms need a deep cleaning and some carpet and furniture replaced. AC was loud and could not be set to fan on so every time it would cut on it can wake you up. Desk clerk stayed seated while helping guest and staff had general laid-back attitude towards problems and concerns. Over all I didn't feel that my visit was a priority to the staff. June 1, 2015
