Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 This was a Holiday Inn? I needed a room in am emergency for a family funeral. All my web sites indicated that there were no rooms available of the HI variety. I called the reservation line and they were able to book me in this HIE. You take what you can get. I was to recconized as a Priority Member. It only had an out door pool. No hot tub no sauna which are generally a staple at the Holiday Inss I frequent. After a full day of driving I was looking forward to relaxing my sore back. No such luck. I was looking forward to breakfast and hot bacon that I had to enjoyed on Friday all of lent. Rats cold sausage patties no bacon. Things were just going my way. Wish I could have found something closed than 23 miles to my relatives home, but like I said before "you take what you can get." If I return to this area of Flordia I will look for something outside the HI system. April 6, 2013

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Home Away from Home We (family of 4) stayed at the Holiday Inn, Lecanto, FL for one night (March 5th 2013) and enjoyed every minute of it. From the moment we checked in (promptly and warmly greeted - they even offered bottled water or cookies) until the moment we checked out we could not have been treated better or enjoyed a hotel more. The room had two queen beds, standard bathroom and sitting area with couch (pull out sleeper I believe although we didn't need it so we didn't take it apart#. The room was nicely decorated, very clean, spacious and comfortable. We only wish we had the same experience in the hotel we stayed in the next night #3 1/2 hours south#. We did enjoy the continential breakfast the next morning, they had a nice variety of options but wish they had a waffle maker #with waffle batter# so guests could make their own hot waffles #I believe they had some premade Ego type available but we find the hotels that offer the make your own waffles are way better#. If you are considering a stay here you will not be disappointed it was one of the nicest Holiday Inns #one of the nicest hotels period) we have stayed at and when/if we return to the area will certainly stay here again. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Best Bet in the Area I can always rely on this Holiday Inn Express to provide excellent service, clean rooms and a relaxing stay. The only glitch in our stay was that the elevator broke 15 minutes before my elderly mother and I were leaving; there was a nice, strong employee walking the hallways, looking for people who were checking out and who needed help with luggage.
